  1. These guys have an inner fire that drives them without three of their top five players. It's name is Joakim Noah.
  2. Bulls stepping up without Rose, Taj, and Boozer.
  3. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 25, 2010 -> 03:42 PM) Don't forget Bynum there either. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 25, 2010 -> 06:47 PM) Yeah, that one day that Bynum isnt injured you have to worry about him. The 81 other days you dont I never count on Bynum for anything. He's makes Quentin look like a man of steel.
  4. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 25, 2010 -> 02:02 PM) I can only imagine J4L's reaction... Fun to think about, but that ain't happening... What package possible would even come close to getting CarGo?
  5. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Nov 25, 2010 -> 01:10 PM) Boozer gets owned by Gasol though, at least in the playoffs. It'll be good for the Bulls to get Boozer back. Maybe with the Bulls he won't matchup against Gasol like he did with the Jazz. I'd anticipate that Noah would be on him, since Noah shut him down the other night and Boozer would be on Odom.
  6. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 25, 2010 -> 11:28 AM) His & everyone's that claimed that the Heat were gonna steamroll everyone. Remember, it was gonna be so easy Pat could suit up like his Kentucky days.
  7. Didn't expect Miami to be an all time great team, but didn't expect this and it's awesome.
  8. God I can't wait for Boozer. We went toe-to-toe with the Lakers for most of a game without him. We need a second sniper though, for nights like this when Korver is off.
  9. The Bulls frontcourt will devour the Haslem-less heat alive.
  10. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Nov 21, 2010 -> 06:18 PM) I would love to see an NIU v. Northwestern or U of I game NIU is my second favorite college team (going to Mizzou next year, so it takes top spot, but both parents went to NIU and it was my fall back school). I was at the NIU - U of I game and NIU almost won that game, so I think they could beat U of I in a bowl game. If only they had a bigger stadium, the Big 12 might ask for them to join.
  11. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Nov 21, 2010 -> 09:30 PM) To be fair, this is a game we are going to lose pretty much regardless so probably best to let Taj rest. True, but we might have to watch Scal guard Pau. Ugh.
  12. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baske...0,4842598.story f***. Noah at PF, Asik at C.
  13. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 21, 2010 -> 06:37 PM) f***in insane: The Clippers need to firesale everyone not Griffin or Gordon and just stockpile draft picks. Kaman could net you some nice pieces and Baron could probably get something. The scary part is the Clippers could get Harrison Barnes. Think of a core of Gordon-Barnes-Griffin. Yikes.
  14. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 20, 2010 -> 08:31 PM) isnt that what Cowley's writing is?
  15. It seems we're talking about to trade one of our pitchers (and Phil Rogers talking about trading the rest in odd trades) so why not discuss. I say Danks only because he's about to get expensive, seems intent on free agency, and could get a nice haul.
  16. QUOTE (chwhtsox @ Nov 20, 2010 -> 08:34 AM) I once saw Mags burn down an orphanage and speed away laughing with the only water supply in a five mile radius. For reference, the entire stadium booed Maggs.
  17. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 04:40 PM) He was offered a 3 yr/$63M offer. He turned it down, so the Yankees lowered their offer, and will probably continue to until Jeter realizes he isn't worth even half that. :lolhitting
  18. Magglio was my hero when I was little. That being said, f*** Maggs. I once saw him go to throw a baseball to a kid in 2008...only to fake a throw and run the ball in on the third out.
  19. When I was younger, Olivo had just been called up. At the game, a foul ball off Sandy Alomars bat hit me right in the stomach and a lady sitting next to me grabbed it for her grandkids (who weren't at the game). I met Olivo later at Grandstand and he signed my hat and I was happy .
  20. I can only see Gavin dealt if Danks doesn't sign and we get an impact bat in return.
  21. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 11:41 PM) You are right about this. Except he didn't turn it on at the end of the game like Brewer. One of them really has to go. I would kill to have Hinrich back. I miss Kirk.
