2012 Video Game Thread
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 11:38 PM) A bunch of MLB '12 videos just came out. During one of the videos talking about full MOVE control, the guy demonstrating said you CAN mix and match, which is HUGE. So I can do a franchise of pitching/field w/ the Dualshock 3, and then swing the bat w/ the MOVE. Awesome news. Also, they said there is a new mode called "Diamond Dynasty". The name is all these released, but they said it is "a new mode not seen in any other sports game, not football, hockey, or basketball." Said they have been working on it for 4 years now. I'm really pumped to hear what it is all about. Agreed with the first. My guess at Diamond Dynasty? You run an African diamond mine to fund the team. Also, Rayman Origins is really fun with friends.

What are your 3 fav sports teams?
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 09:59 PM) The Bears and Blackhawks are probably my next two teams, but I really don't give two s***s about either of them. I watch when I'm with other people and I root for them, but it makes no difference to me whether they win or lose. Bulls and White Sox are right there. Only in times like now will the Bulls overtake the Sox, but if both were good? It's White Sox all the way. Then the Bears. I guess I give half a flying f*** about them. Hockey isn't super intriguing to me. I tried to get into it the year before the Blackhawks won it all, but Havlat was my favorite player and I was like "Ok. I like them, but they won't get Bulls/Sox status." Mizzou Basketball/Football is around Blackhawks status, though I figure they'll leap frog it.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 08:27 AM) At least from what I've watched, Boozer hasn't been nearly as torchable on defense this year as last year, but that could be entirely because Joakim's become such a weak spot. No, he's actually giving effort. He's attempted the Karl Malone ball strip too, since he can't block.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 08:14 AM) Did anyone here post this page on how much more Boozer is shooting from the outside and how muchless he's actually getting to the rim? I seriously think he's trying to clear out for Noah. The other day on D Noah was rotating over to help Boozer out and you could hear Boozer say "Don't worry Jo! I got this!"

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 07:26 AM) I agree. I have become increasingly frustrated at our front line. I love Gibson and Asik's D but hate Gibson's shot selection and Omer's hands. Boozer has grown on me a bit lately and Noah seems to have regressed both offensively and defensively. Still love Luol obviously. Yeah, when Boozer's Rainbow is on, he's great because we can effectively run the Pick & Pop. We can run the Pick & Roll because of Noah, which is fine if Noah was getting his 13 hustle points, but he's not. Gibson thinks he's become Boozer and can make that shot. Asik did some random/cool post moves yesterday, but that sure as hell won't last.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 02:52 AM) •One scout guaranteed to ESPN.com’s Jayson Stark that at least five teams will claim Mets outfielder Fernando Martinez, who is now on waivers (Twitter link). INTEREST? We already went there with Lastings Milledge. He's 23, so there's really nothing to lose.
