Quin

Well obviously the delay was making this clip. And notice that Vuc, Pat and Coby aren't in it. Does Zach know something we don't?

Gallo was plan B. Plan A is Durant.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/kevin-durant-trade-rumors-how-the-designated-rookie-rule-will-limit-who-the-nets-can-deal-for/ The NBA salary structure is wild: Bam, Mitchell, and Murray feel like the biggest three hindrances for their teams + good news for the Bulls.

Well, according to Cowley, the Bulls made calls to the Nets about Durant.

I'm dumb and was thinking of DeAndre Jordan. Two centers named Andre (kinda) that played for the Nets and Sixers last year, so kinda understandable mistake. For context: Kyrie and KD wanted DJ in the starting lineup over Jarrett Allen. Once Kenny Atkinson was gone, DJ was in the starting line. Also, he was the third wheel of a pact KD and Kyrie made at the Olympics to play together.

Ah, the Jay/Alonso strategy.

Yeah. Thad and Boucher now off the block.

Well I was wrong.

Boo. Would expect Bamba to get slightly less, which is also around what I'd pay for him

Also, I'm just sitting here imagining the alternate timeline where Jimmy stays and recruits Kyrie, as was speculated. The old regime + Jimmy/Kyrie would have been an absolute gold mine for WTF drama.

I feel like this package has become our Clint Frazier / Miguel Andujar.

No, that's the entire point. The NBA salary structures are a Byzantine maze that necessitate teams hiring capologists to help facilitate transactions. The Sox also have the seventh highest payroll in baseball, so they're spending money, they're just spending it real fucking poorly. A better question would be "why did you spend money on Leury and Harrison when you could have just signed Escobar and played Mendick on the MLB roster from the start?" Right now on RealGM you have Bulls fans upset that Dallas Keuchel's DFA might hurt the Bulls free agency dreams but they don't correlate.

Well, for starters, the teams have two separate budgets and as far as I'm aware Jerry doesn't 100% own either team (hence "The Chairman" moniker).

I could actually see this one getting answered semi-seriously.

Guess this has to do with this and not Gobert

I think my biggest problem/frustration is that if even Ricky Renteria were still here, we'd be seeing better out of Eloy, Yoan, and Robert (when healthy). He couldn't manage a bullpen, but the team was enjoyable and played hard for Ricky.

This definitely answered Kyyle's question.

Because people who want the team to be drama-free love drama.

Possible 2-way? Here's a draft profile from a Pistons site. Apparently he had a good 3 point shot in college: https://www.detroitbadboys.com/2022/6/22/23170244/2022-nba-draft-john-butler-jr

Oscar Colas' instagram is back to normal and, once again, the initial post was incorrect regarding him deleting everything White Sox.

I fourth this sentiment.

Most managers would pinch hit for Leury right there. Most managers aren't in the Hall of Fame ?.

Yoan, it's almost a meme at this point.
