With DeMar becoming Jordan's heir since donning a Bulls jersey, he'll take this personally and will himself into the #1 spot. Just gotta keep scoring 35+ PPG on 50% shooting for the rest of the season (and playoffs, while we're at it).
-
Yeah, tbh last year this would have been the shit. Now, is that a byproduct of the no-waiver-deadline arms race causing a bunch of teams to load up on July 31st or an anomaly?
-
I'm making a joke about when Thompson said "the east still runs through Cleveland" after LeBron left. In reality, the Sixers scare the shit out of me.
-
DeMar's historic scoring streak Good news on AC returning to action Signing Tristan Thompson, which means the east runs through Chicago (also, just an upgrade in every way over Bradley/McKinnie) Zach seems to be doing OK after docs checked him out Pat and Lonzo are both coming could come back in early-to-mid March. Bulls going into the break as the #1 seed despite everything. Everything's coming up Millhouse.

Tbh, the most logical move for the Lakers (independent of LeBron's wishes) would have been nuking the hell out of the team at the trade deadline. They could have gotten a ransom for LeBron, fortune for AD (you have to consider injuries), and maybe some second rounders for Melo, Dwight, and Jordan.

https://www.gq.com/story/gq-hype-demar-derozan This GQ article is a great read.

According to Mavs fans he's the definition of a project. Like, real athletic, but gets lost at times. Also, Bulls are tied for #1 in the east again and facing the Kings. A RealGM article has dubbed them the ad-hoc Bulls and that's pretty much perfect.

Hamstring keeping him out until after all-star game.

I'm sorry Harold, but it's called "Saving America's Pastime."
-
At this point, I'd try hard for Eubanks and Dragic. Moses Brown would be a decent project, but he's a project.
-
KZ Okpala biggest winner of the deadline.
-
Prayers for Thompson.

We need to complete the Trade Raptor.
-
Ah, thank you.
-
Pretty sure the Vuc deal came at the deadline last year, with absolutely no rumors leading up. We can wait until 3:00 PM ET to judge.
-
That being said, I don't see any way the Bulls beat the 76ers without pristine health and an upgrade now.
-
It's a good deal for the Nets on paper. But the Nets now have the three biggest prima donnas in the sport. KD is a transcendent talent and that can overcome his social media woes and injury concerns, but Kyrie is insane and destroys teams, and Simmons mentally and physically can't shoot and folds under any scrutiny.

Well, no Bagley reclamation. I know KC said Schroeder talk was overblown, but this removes the Bucks as a suitor.
-
Cause due to the CBA, they had to agree to it in the offseason. He didn't qualify for the supermax and probably wanted a shot at making All-NBA to get it. It also would have prevented them from building the current team. I think LaVine is a lot happier with DeMar around than not. The Bulls can still offer him a lot more than any team and they're a contender and he's happy here. Everything isn't doom and gloom all the time.

If the Knicks have everyone on the block, Taj fits nicely into the Theis TPE, and I'd rather him than Millsap.
-
Don't worry man, we have World Cup to look forward to! Looks up anything about the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Nevermind.
-
For what it's worth, I doubt the Spurs settle for this unless they LOVE Coby or are just cool with second rounder + the Portland pick.
-
Then may I present the "AKME can pull everything off cause no one else gives the Spurs or Celtics a better offer" trade deadline.
-
At this rate, if the Kings want to be crazy (likely) and include picks to dump Bagley (as they're desperate to get rid of him) - would you do it? His rebounding is still good and while god knows I haven't watched any Kings basketball, Gentry was praising him for defensive effort this season. His advanced defensive numbers are about as good as you can get on a team like the Kings. Holmes is definitely a better target for this season, but he's on a 4 year deal at age 28 while Bagley expires and if he works out, would probably be dirt cheap to both acquire and re-sign. I'm not saying you do it, but just curious on thoughts.

He's saying it because he made a big, bold declaration that he would become a Cubs fan due to TLR. It worked out like his ban bets.
