Keuchel is definitely the sticky stuff, I'm not holding that against Katz.
  2. I'm old enough to remember being told that Tony would have this team mentally focused and in tip top shape for baseball cause he's a Hall of Famer.

Hmmm ? Still doesn't excuse his shit decision making in games ?‍♂️.

I forget who recommended the CHGO podcast, but man is it cathartic.
  5. I don't know if I've ever missed a staff member more than Herm.

How long before the players only meeting?

If the Sox fan base is one thing, it's emotive. When they make the playoffs, the crowd is insane — even for play in games. We love anyone associated with the franchise in any positive aspect whatsoever. And after going through a rebuild, we saw Renteria blow it in the ALDS. Had the best opening for a manager in baseball. Then Tony comes in, with legal trouble, and has shown that it's his way or the highway and his way has repeatedly lost them games. Unless this team goes on a tear, Tony traded a story book ending for a brutal summer of White Sox fans rightfully reaming him every single home game.
  8. The ancient chant. It lives.
  9. What the fuck did Danny learn down in Charlotte?
  10. But has he ever hit a home run against a LHP before?
  11. I love this because it's like "Trea Turner has hit home runs on counts before, we shouldn't pitch to him. Checkmate."

  13. Are Leury Legend and Big Energy the new #DrainDuo?
  14. Best part about being a fan is I can say that without actually having to figure out what it was.
  15. Man, they should have sold high. Granted, I'm guessing other orgs probably weren't buying Sheets' 2021 production as sustainable.
  16. An error of the body vs. an error of the mind.
  17. Doesn't erase the dumbass call by the manager.
  18. Ron, I fixed the title for you to keep it accurate!

I love that this reads like Jimenez got 7 Ks and a walk on 5 five pitches.
  20. A rebuttal deprived of substance.

  22. TLR's managing philosophy can just basically be summed up as: - Play to handedness matchups, ignore reverse splits. - Starters have to try and go 100 pitches no matter what. - New rules are for nerds. - Respect the "unwritten" rules. - Second leadoff hitter is important, because NL style pre-DH.
  23. For anyone that says the manager doesn't matter: Please look at the turnaround the Padres made from Tingler to Melvin and the Mets from Rojas to Showalter. TLR is a dumpster fire on the bench.
  24. Unlike TLR, this Tony gets it.
  25. Was busy working all day and thought by the box score that, oh man, Burger had a rough error and then the bullpen did it. Then MLB app was like "you gotta see this shit that La Russia did." Dude is only a Hall of Fame baseball person because of steroids and prime Albert Pujols.
