  1. Looks like he can still get boards. Anyone know what his defense is like?
  2. I'm just wondering if the Bulls think Siakim is worth Coby, Pat, DJJ, and Troy Brown (+whatever remaining draft capital they have) at this point, mainly due to Siakim's contract, with Zach's extension looming. I'd lean heavily towards Barnes + hope Pat can return.
  3. Right now DeRozan has a legit shot to be the starting SG from the East. He and Zach both have the counting stats and advanced stats. Vuc has an extremely long outside shot, but he'd have to keep his offensive resurgence going.
  4. All I know is I want Yermin to go to the Mets, because Yermin and Steve Cohen is social media magic.
  5. Was looking at NBA power rankings, and these are the following opponents Kyrie would have to sit out entirely: Bulls 76ers Wizards Celtics Warriors Clippers Lakers Pelicans, if some absolute bananas shit happens.
  6. To build off this, something you and I would love: Rename the "competitive balance picks" to "didn't tank picks"
  7. It was. I'd be jazzed an ECF appearance. Cowley just seems to be saying that "remember, it sucks to get to the ECF and lose!"
  8. It's wild how quick I went from feeling they were going to lose to "oh shit they're gonna win" after Coby's three, then the Zach dunk. Seemingly an immediate momentum shift.
  9. DeRozan is fucking amazing. And thank God Ayo kept him from getting T'd up, even if he was in the right.
  10. You do realize the difference between 2013 and 2015 is the same as 2018 and 2020, right? It's 2. And the Sox sent Nicky down for the same reason while having a super massive black hole at second, then called him up the day after the Super 2 deadline passed.
  11. Wasn't Madrigal (average to above average) upset that he was held down until the Super 2 deadline passed because it meant he'd lose a year of arbitration? Therefore, he's not feeling "well paid" at the time (cause he was being held in the minors) and feels it's hampering his future opportunities. And if they change that rule, isn't that for the betterment of future players? Cause you said they're only arguing for current players. But somehow, this is about the mega contracts???
  12. The Sox definitely did the extra year of control with Madrigal. Like, hilariously so.
  13. Cash Considerations returns to right the wrong of GarPax's past.
  14. You do know that improving current situations improves the situation for future generations vs. stagnation, correct?
  15. How would everyone feel if the Sox traded Madrigal + Heuer straight up for Lux at the trade deadline?
  16. On the opposite end of the spectrum from the Bulls, the Celtics need to do a complete tear down. How they lost to the Timberwolves - without all five starters, key bench pieces, led by Greg Monroe who was fresh off the plane - is beyond logic.
  17. RIP broke college student's Rodman. Also Lonzo, McKinnie and Bradley in protocol. Caruso stands alone.
