  1. Eh, it's 2020. Everything is on the table.
  2. Last year they had near equal fWAR (Tatis 3.6, Anderson 3.5) Tim (1.2) is 3rd in fWAR this year despite an IL stint, Tatis (2.1). But considering small sample sizes and your propensity to overrate players, I think you should scale back get out of here with the excessive carrots. Tatis is better than Anderson, but it's more like Tatis > Anderson. That's it.
  3. The timecode matching makes the review process a lot better.
  4. I hate every single Cubs fan sitting in those bleachers.
  5. His work is plenty controversial for how many fact errors he has on the regular.
  6. I like how Jose — a ROY, 2x Silver Slugger, and 3x All-Star — having a good season is so unfathomable to you that you have to interject steroids into the story line, yet you believe a career minor leaguer at age 27 is some super slugger extraordiare.
  7. Jared Mitchell was doing fine as a prospect, — and if memory serves correctly, had a good spring training — until his ankle blew up.
  8. Homers: Abreu, McCann, Moncada, Mazara onto Sheffield.
  9. Ok, they're winning it all
  10. The Angels drafted Randal Grichuk ahead of Mike Trout.
  11. I can see Avdija's shot improving with the right NBA coach. Dude worked on his free throws instead of partying with his team, he just seems to have inconsistency with his form. Ball has bad shot selection and decision making, but his handle seems so much tighter than Lonzo's. I really think the Bulls can't go wrong with either one, but I trust AK to make the right call with foreign players / players who played over seas. Killian Hayes is the one that I'm intrigued by - The Ringer and other places love him. He's got some great passing, but really left hand dominant. I imagine that'd be a trade down scenario if AK opted for that.
  12. Rotation hasn't been healthy. Lineup hasn't been healthy. Bullpen hasn't been healthy. They still fun tho.
  13. The fact that this lineup could have more power injected into it is mind boggling.
  14. Jake Burger's resurrection shall do us wonders.
  15. Of the projected Top 4 - Edwards, Wiseman, LaMelo, and Avdija - I imagine only Edwards is a guarantee to not be at 4. If Wiseman falls, you can explore trading Lauri, Wendell, or the pick. I think you can make either LaMelo or Deni work with the existing team while simultaneously keeping the cheaper contract of the #4 pick, which will be important for the coming free agent classes.
  16. The fact that this is with Bummer, Rodon, Lopez, and Kopech out is huge. Dudes are stepping up. Hahn has spent a decent amount of draft, minor league free agent, and international spending money (that they couldn't use anyway) resources on developing relief arms and this year it's coming to fruition.
