  1. I really want Colson to bounce back and become That Dude again.
  2. Oscar Colas, Korey Lee and Steve Wilson going back to Houston.
  3. Yup. Ten in the top 70!
  4. Can we not call him BM
  5. You cannot sit on your laurels in the AL East when the Yankees and Red Sox exist, Blue Jays are the third wealthiest team in the sport, and the Rays have their farm system.
  6. Probably the aforementioned 10. I believe it was the 2017 list. Hell, has any team ever had more than 10?
  7. Oh god, I just had the image of them last second being like "Rikku, join the call!"
  8. Getz did say he wanted a rotating DH.
  9. I thought you were misremembering Fukudome due to his time on the Cubs, but hell, he was indeed on them for 2.5 months.
  10. Clayton Kershaw: Not an ace.
  11. If Getz lands Sasaki, I'll stop ripping him and give @WestEddy the title of "Getz fan before it was cool."
  12. Considering we were just talking about the Sox being terrible with the kids of major leaguers: f***
  13. He was on the All-MLB Second Team, which would make him #6-10. That's the definition of an ace. The Cease return doesn't look hot right now. A soft-throwing righty that got injured, a flamethrower that can't locate and a young guy that can't hit (but can draw a walk). Wilson was flat out bad. Now, Thorpe could come back stronger since he doesn't rely on speed, Iriarte might start finding the strike zone, and Zavala could start hitting as he becomes more age appropriate for his level. Right now? It's bad. I'm gonna give Getz huge props this time around because it looks like he actually learned from last year and got a great package for Crochet.
  14. Oh, most definitely. It creates value, gets fans excited, etc. But, let's be honest, we are the fans that add the "-atic" to complete the word. We've seen the song and dance: Colas was a Top 100, Ramos was either knocking on the door or Top 100 (Fangraphs and I think Law's), Nastrini was a just missed. I just can't get jazzed about it or pound the table this go around. Otherwise we look like those O's fans that came here last summer.
  15. Ah, still. Crochet, Fried, the above pillaging and Burnes departure. Ironically, it looks like a trade for Dylan Cease may be their best hope.
  16. Orioles are having a bad time.
  17. During the previous rebuild they had 10. The rankings are fun, but don't mean anything unless they produce.
  18. "Monty" fans in shambles.
  19. In case no one posted this wonderful typo
  20. Absolutely hated Teel... being taken 1 pick before the Sox a few years ago. They'll, hopefully, figure out something with him and Quero. Love Montgomery being included. Getz did a good job here.
  21. Based on nothing but the B-Ref page, James' article and BA's preview, looks good.
  22. Just DFA Colas and let him try and play somewhere, my lord. Getz is just as petty as the previous regime.
