It's funny looking at the averages of the Charlotte lineup. Outside of Reed I wouldn't want to throw against that lineup.

I'll be the first one to cry. Charlotte has been fun to watch lately. If Ricky were to make that line up AJ Reed would be batting 4th. I guess they haven't come to the conclusion Reed s not good. Maybe try him at Great Falls.

I'm surprised the amount of RBI's Abreau has when Ricky uses the worst hitter in the 4th spot. Why pitch to him when the next guy up is a much easier out.

I still don't think they were interested in Harper. You have a Jimenez and a Robert in your system and ever since Crede they could never fill 3b. It's like a curse. Then they thought they could turn out their own instead of drafting one. Josh Field couldn't catch a baseball. They tried it with Viciedo. Then there was Teahan who I think eventually went to the outfield and there was that broken down player from Boston.

I'm not sure they are big finds but if you get them young enough but still bad luck with veteran NL talent. It started with Jake Peavy.

I think the site was too sensitive and people would be banned left and right. Instead of banning they should have removed posts/threads and give warnings. Eventually you run out of members. I would not be surprised this is a retaliation from a member or former member. Do I feel sorry for them? Not really. They made their own bed. Lay in it. One of the former mods is now on this site and followed the same over-moderation at WSI.

The Sox have bad luck with NL players. The NL and AL are apples and oranges. I guess they thought the system was stocked with outfielders so they passed on Harper.

I'm glad they don't. I'd like to watch something the resembles winning baseball.

My only thought would be for potential post season experience. I don't even know when Charlotte was ever in the playoffs. Last year I blew off watching them. Lately I'd prefer to watch them over the Sox.

I doubt it. He's gold in the organization. It doesn't appear he wants to be a manager either. The ownership treats him like he's another Bill Billichick.
