And that's a 7-2 Kyle Teel debut WHITE SOX WINNER!
You forget Getz is doing the trading. I guess the goal would be to have as many players making the minimum as possible.

People are still stuck in this fantasy Robert is going to bring some value being traded. There are not many clueless GMs left. Sox might have taken the last one.

Gerrit Cole to have TJS....likely won't be back until mid-2026
We tend to look at the money collected but it hurts many athletes more that they are not competing. They don't make pitchers like they use to either. D'Backs spend some serious money on pitching again and this happens. Last year was Montgomery which was a wasted contract and now a pitcher out for the season. Yet I will take that owner over JR any day.

I'm giddy over these players. It still concerns me the Sox never draft players like this.\ You see Vaughn and Montgomery at the other end of the spectrum. Then you wonder who is the next Crochet they will have to trade. Every time they draft a pitcher I start thinking future trade piece if they work out.

GT Sox Vs Detroit
Kinda odd they "play down to the competition" of late.

But this is the White Sox - might also make him play OF.

6/3 - White Sox Winner - beat Tigers 8-1
Why curious when it's always cut payroll.

Cannon to 15-day IL, Caleb Freeman up from Charlotte
Since they have a habit of working players in different positions maybe they should do that with the mound

Project Birmingham Then there's hopes the other teams in the division will get worse.

6/3 GT Brieske vs Smith Tigers/Sox 6:40
It is odd like he was a cancer to the team

Column on "rebuilding"...
Scouting and development. GMs don't really scout unless it is office people. Then they still don get to make the final decision. Then there is also the era of the more brittle player. It's a trend in all sports.

“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
Privately funded? That's unheard of.
-
Column on "rebuilding"...
Can't read it - paywall The myth is rebuilds work. That's what the consistently bad teams do. The problem with that is they never compliment the team either. That will be Reinsdorf. It's also a sport with the least amount of roster consistency.

Vaughn/Elko updates...
He was paying CF in Charlotte. Make no sense to play 1st base. Soon they will have guys in the pen play 1st base.

Jac Caglianone
There there's the development part.

Sox Host Tigers 6/2 6:40 CDT
I just see anything positive happening as long as the Sox have the same owner. These handful of prospects just aren't going to help that much since it is only a handful. They will never supplement then with decent free agents. Sure they'll get FA that will be busts. JR is a curse to this organization and you really can't get past that. If there was a baseball hell this would be it. Unfortunately there are a few more teams not much different. They are a curse to baseball. Players and potential execs have this figured out.

TLR has been to some farm games. That's the only thing I can think of when everything seems like WTF.
