  1. You are seeing long term. They need to get lucky drafting a difference maker and not one who is only good every 5 days. Losing is a habit.
  2. who is in his 2nd week of TJ recovery
  3. I guess he forget he is pitching for the Sox and not to them
  4. so what kind of weapon would that take? I don't think there will ever be a real answer
  5. That has been that way for a long time. He values loyalty over performance.
  6. there was a time he attacked one of his players in the locker room. You'll get it. It was when he managed the Reds. It's is a trend in modern day sports where a manager or coach is now the tallest midget. The smart ones know when it's time to quit. The soap opera of the Sosa era was well hidden.
  7. and it seems no one in the farm system either maybe they can keep trading more pitchers until they find something better this has been another long time curse in the Sox organization
  8. Winning and losing are habits.
  9. This is a league problem. No team is immune. It can be researched all day and 1000 theories develop. It's like trying to cure cancer

  11. Send that to Reinsdorf
  12. That seems to be a problem in all of baseball
  13. We would probably like him if the Sox were winning 95 games
  14. That would have never worked with Pinella or Martin. Lou would've tried to settle it right then. Then again he couldn't manage the prima donnas on the Cubs either.
  15. Habitual losing. You create players that say "you need me". There are no we have guys in the minors that could replace you/
  16. The TLR/Grifol era was a curse. How many of you had bosses like Grifol there his only skill was being a kiss ass.
  17. 70-80 wins will be the landmark of being competitive in the Sox kingdom. They will be a team in wildcard contention and then reality sets in late July and the trade frenzy happens to make Birmingham better. It will be a rebuild of the rebuild rebuild. People think those really work. Rebuilds don't work when an organization is bad. The rebuild for success doesn't start with the players just everyone above them. You cab see this pattern in a few other organizations.
  18. Sad that the wrong person is getting fired since Getz and much of the scouting and development are the ones that need to go.
  19. At some point you have to stop the recent carousel of sending people up and down.
  20. Ever notice the wrong guys never get hurt?
  21. Sale is still a stud. I hate it when I miss a Sale outing.
  22. It just proves the scouting is terrible in all aspects.
  23. Usually the prospects the longer they are here.
