5/30 Sox at O's. 330 start
Rare for any Sox team to make the obvious, They seem to come across too many Cy Chenns

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
Somehow you would hope there is a naive GM out there not named Chris Getz, then when you think that happens you were duped with a A version of the person you got rid of.

5/29 Games
He just might be another failed position player this organization is known for.

5/29 Games
Unless they want to improve him in other areas, he's wasting away there.

And that's a 9-4 White Sox winner!
Glad to see someone with a sense of reality. He mostly plays DH and it not DH material. Unfortunately he makes too much Sox many and they'd gladly take a warm body in A ball and a semi prospect in AA just to keep their cheapass small market habitually losing reputation.

and even that is not a given...this organization could be cursed for my eternity

Evidence of a demoralized fan base. That's like saying a .299 hitter is a .300 hitter Jerry will work his magic. I keep wondering who will be the next Crochet on the trading block. You can't have nice things. I think he will live to be 107 and even in his 100's, he wont know what day it is but he will still think he knows successful baseball better than everybody. Wealthy people are far more addicted to power than money.

He played there all during the Fall League.

a demoralized fan base.................that will be the constant under Reinsdorf maybe by 2030 fans will be use to flirting with .500

so far Colson has not proved anything, he could be the next Vaughn going all out instead of accepting not big league material, preferential treatment based on being home grown talent - that's the Getz part Colson vs. Vargas at 3rd......... Colson vs. Vargas at 1st.....

LOL! While I agree but another symptom of small market habitual losing syndrome. #MaKeBirminghamBetter Things will get "better" going from 100 losses to 90. Yay!

We should learn by now not to go by a small sample size.

4 run lead is not safe against the Mets. Then pen can easily give that up in one inning or just one error on the field.

People respond to different coaching or the player decided to listen. Plus there's a big difference when it comes to pressure being a Dodger vs. Sox.

For Stone it's probably an age thing.

I wondered if that was the case with guys like Mantle. Sometimes I wonder if more muscle mass = more injuries. There are plenty of skinny guys in the HoF. Yet we never hear want some of these guys like Brett, Gwynn, Henderson, and so many others did in the off season. They fear could be it denies much science in modern sports. We live in an age where more athletes are more brittle. It is a mystery and no credible answers. It's not even worth trying to explain so don't bother.

Matt Thaiss traded to TB for OF Dru Baker
but it's what small market habitual losing teams do more talk of trades than signings unless they are dumpster dive signings trades are made to make Birmingham Better or their bench that is we follow the same rut like the other s%*# teams do if the Twins were almost as bad as the Sox in drafting and development, we would be in good company Getz had this Royals envy and it is achieved.

Is it time for a Vargas fan club yet?

What's the bullpen solution (knowing JR will never spend here)...?
Managers do that in games now. Pens are so inconsistent in baseball but a quality closer gets paid well.
