  1. That's how agents make money.
  2. Yes it's called being in the lower part of the order behind a kick ass lineup. That fixes a lot of hitters.
  3. I can't imagine what it is like for a manager trying to answer questions. It'd be easy to say "we suck and have to deal with it". Reinsdorf needs to be out of professional sports.
  4. There's the difference. MLB is not like the other sports.
  5. I'm not sure this toxicity will be removed in my lifetime. I don't think the fan base will ever be restored outside of a World Series.
  6. He's not done. Wait till the trade deadline.
  7. I'm all for trying someone new. I'd risk new is better.
  8. When they had them it's either injury or very deficient in everything else.
  9. Doesn't support the reason for keeping Katz.
  10. No he doesn't. Next comes a trade that will benefit him and an organization while the Sox will pile up more Vargas type players.
  11. I still don't understand the fascination with Katz. Cease, Crochet, maybe Martin, but hardly a resume, The new Daryl Boston.
  12. If you keep whiffing on your first player picked it will set you back a long time. That seems to apply to all pro sports.
  13. It's not then end f the world if he stays there a bit longer. Sox don't want to eat Vaughn's 5 million.
  14. They'll keep him so Getz doesn't look bad at the worst trade he's made so far.
  15. I guess the only hope is to purge all players from that era. Vaughn and Robert are the only 2 left.
  16. After the last 2 100 loss season I guess it is possible to form a really beyond farm system bad bullpen. Yet Katz and others still has a job,
  17. That was TLRs excuse for playing Leury
  18. Can hardly remember when it wasn't
  19. You wonder how much money is wasted by small market habitual losing teams signing guys like this with hopes to flip at the deadline. Somehow that strategy just doesn't work. Always hope that .01% actually works.
  20. I'm still considering a divorce. I have watched the farm system. Also marker safe from watching White Sox baseball
  21. Trading with the Dodgers is right up there with trading with the Royals - don't. The Dodgers recognize good scouting and can fleece one that has poor scouting. See Vargas
  22. We like to add words that were never spoken by a player. It's what media does to get attention. Any young player that leaves has no sentiment since there are so many changes in roster and coaching.
  23. I'd say it's the opposite. Some teams have guys on their farm that could replace players. This is not so with the Sox. No one really knows. So far it seems the Sox organization is baseball purgatory. I think the name free agents feel that way so this organization is on their blacklist.
