  1. You wonder how much money is wasted by small market habitual losing teams signing guys like this with hopes to flip at the deadline. Somehow that strategy just doesn't work. Always hope that .01% actually works.
  2. I'm still considering a divorce. I have watched the farm system. Also marker safe from watching White Sox baseball
  3. Trading with the Dodgers is right up there with trading with the Royals - don't. The Dodgers recognize good scouting and can fleece one that has poor scouting. See Vargas
  4. We like to add words that were never spoken by a player. It's what media does to get attention. Any young player that leaves has no sentiment since there are so many changes in roster and coaching.
  5. I'd say it's the opposite. Some teams have guys on their farm that could replace players. This is not so with the Sox. No one really knows. So far it seems the Sox organization is baseball purgatory. I think the name free agents feel that way so this organization is on their blacklist.
  6. Never trade with the Dodgers
  7. That might have been Colson.
  8. So far all the teams he's faced have trouble with him. Sox are not excluded.
  9. Something tells me Quero is going to be called up soon. Teel spends a lot of time at DH and isn't doing well there. Some guys just can't DH,
  10. Part of that problem is when a organization mostly drafts pitchers and a complete failure everywhere else.
  11. Shocked they won in late innings
  12. I don't think we've ever had that luxury.
  13. Expected for the wheels to fall off. They don't have a player in the lineup for a walk off win.
  14. He was a horrible base runner. The Cubs couldn't coach that out of him.
  15. I think in his case it's more to do with ignorance. But last year's offseason he says, "I didn't like our team". Glad to see someone place some blame on him for the Grifol hiring. I don't think Kenny and Hahn really cared when JR overruled their hire. of course Grifol was going to fix problems he saw while in an opposing dugout of a 100 loss team This organization is a cancer
  16. For him it's all about power which increases arrogance.
  17. He's been there for 2 years. I can't imagine what it's like to be in his situation. It has to be hard to be motivated to be on this team. The same probably goes for Vaughn as well. There's no pressure of being replaced by someone in the minors. It's pretty hard to be successful in this lineup. It's not unusual to see players get better when they leave because they are around better players. There is something about this organization that resembles baseball hell.
  18. Like that CC dude who seemed to pitch forever?
  19. That's pretty much the trademark of his ownership. He's could accomplish that even in Nashville.
  20. I fear JR will outlive us
  21. NOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo!
  22. of course - no Fedde, no Crochet
