  1. Never trade with the Dodgers
  2. That might have been Colson.
  3. So far all the teams he's faced have trouble with him. Sox are not excluded.
  4. Something tells me Quero is going to be called up soon. Teel spends a lot of time at DH and isn't doing well there. Some guys just can't DH,
  5. Part of that problem is when a organization mostly drafts pitchers and a complete failure everywhere else.
  6. Shocked they won in late innings
  7. I don't think we've ever had that luxury.
  8. Expected for the wheels to fall off. They don't have a player in the lineup for a walk off win.
  9. He was a horrible base runner. The Cubs couldn't coach that out of him.
  10. I think in his case it's more to do with ignorance. But last year's offseason he says, "I didn't like our team". Glad to see someone place some blame on him for the Grifol hiring. I don't think Kenny and Hahn really cared when JR overruled their hire. of course Grifol was going to fix problems he saw while in an opposing dugout of a 100 loss team This organization is a cancer
  11. For him it's all about power which increases arrogance.
  12. He's been there for 2 years. I can't imagine what it's like to be in his situation. It has to be hard to be motivated to be on this team. The same probably goes for Vaughn as well. There's no pressure of being replaced by someone in the minors. It's pretty hard to be successful in this lineup. It's not unusual to see players get better when they leave because they are around better players. There is something about this organization that resembles baseball hell.
  13. Like that CC dude who seemed to pitch forever?
  14. That's pretty much the trademark of his ownership. He's could accomplish that even in Nashville.
  15. I fear JR will outlive us
  16. NOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo!
  17. of course - no Fedde, no Crochet
  18. Looks like he shouldn't have tried for home anyway.
  19. kitekrazy replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
Teel could stop his Colson impersonation anytime now.
  20. It goes that way for fans as well. Another WSox World Series in my lifetime.......probably not gonna happen. I fear JR will live to be 108 and still in control
  21. Baseball needs an unluxury tax where owners are penalized for not spending 200 million.
  22. So maybe Clevinger is not the next Eckersley
  23. Wouldn't that violate the minimum wage laws? Maybe they could list the players as a tip salary
