Did not agree with the predictions that we will be 4th in the central but the experts seem to be right on this time. We need to change the dynamics of the team. Small ball wont happen with out any small ball players. We need line drive hitters, contact hitters. No more swinging for the fences.

Positive - our relief pitchers have been great so far. Negative - hitters can't hit when runners are on base, hitters try to send each pitch out of the park. We need more line drive hitters like Overbay instead of swinging and missing.

Where is Liotta? Is he with the barons? How come he has not pitch yet?

We need hitters that put the ball in play instead of swinging for the fences. Cleveland has good hitters in their lineup, just trying to hit the ball in play. The sox dont. This is not looking good so far.

We cant have Pods, Erstad and Thome in order. Why cant we put Dye in the 3rd whole all the time. Dye seems to thrive on that pressure of hitting 3rd i.e 2005 world series.

I dont like Vazquez at all. He has the talent but has not lived up to it. I dont know what he did to get the extension and be a Sox for 3 more years. We always here KW and Ozzie say that they will keep players that performs and let underachievers go. Buerhle deserves to be with the sox for 3 more years other than Vazquez because Mark has perform well for us. But if this would help trading him in the near future having a deal done then I would agree. Otherwise, that's money not well spent after KW b****ing about the market.
