Of course Sale's ahead of Bumgarner. Sale is arguably behind only Kershaw and Felix overall, and many people would argue that... Kershaw (stands alone) Felix, Sale (gap) Everyone else, headed by Scherzer, etc Bumgarner is a top 10-15 pitcher in baseball whose amazing postseason run is coloring people's perceptions of his ability heading into this season. There are people who say they'd take him over Kershaw, who is in the midst of a historic run right now. Those people are morons.

This seems like a lazy Hawk-style comp, right?
