  1. This is why I dont like tanking...how the hell is this good for baseball or Atlanta when they open their new stadium next year?
  2. I think Hart said a few years ago they wanted to be competitive in 2017.....uh....
  3. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 8, 2016 -> 07:44 PM) So this lineup is clearly much better with Sanchez instead of Avisail. Just gonna call it now. Everyone is better than Avi basically...he's a negative in every single category
  4. Believe it or not according to DRS Avila is far superior to Flowers. By 8 runs.
  5. You have to meatball it to Flowers for him to hit a ball out of the park
  6. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ Jul 8, 2016 -> 07:26 PM) For whatever reason, advanced metrics do not like him much. I do, though. They like his offense not his defense...it's almost certainly runs scored
  7. Run on Tyler Flowers all day
  8. That was a pretty impressive hit by Freeman
  9. That was a great slide by Eaton
  10. Davidson would have needed a golf club to hit those pitches
  11. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 28, 2016 -> 02:25 PM) Exactly. Hopes of winning the division disappeared a long time ago. Good luck getting in wild card contention. The White Sox either should sell, sell sell in an attempt to rebuild or make moves based on next season. Sure if you can get a good reliever for nothing, go for it, but make moves in regards to the future not this season. That ship has sailed. Personally I'd trade Lawrie, Melky, Avi for starters. And also dump Robertson and maybe even Frazier. Sell time. Make moves based on next season...but be sure you deal everyone signed for next season. Makes sense.
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 04:29 PM) It's really not easy to lose at home when you hit 7 home runs. That's a lot of fireworks. The guy we started is not a big leaguer. I wonder if Danks would have worked out his problems by now. He had years to work out his problems. Enough of that s***.
  13. Somehow in terms of offensive WAR Avi has gotten worse than every other year
  14. They need to replace Avi soon...he just sucks.
  15. Boston announcers say no intent to hit Abreu...glad we got that cleared up from them
  16. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 01:56 PM) He should have drilled him once the count went to 3-1 Someone needs to get hit for sure. They already dont like Shields...let him do it.
  17. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 01:49 PM) what caused Hawk to want blood?! They hit Jose Abreu again
  18. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 01:48 PM) To be fair, they actually have the prospects to pull it off. The Sox love Swihart. They arent getting either. It's useless for them to dream about it.
  19. So they are running a poll asking which pitcher the Red Sox should trade for...Sale or Q...what a bunch of idiots
  20. Boston announcers are pitiful..."Shields has an attitude". No s***. Where have you guys been?
  21. If Sale got traded the White Sox would need to be the clear winners of that trade. Basically the reaction would be "Wow Chris Sale is a great pitcher...but the Sox got an absolute haul". That's what it would take. I'm not talking about just gutting their minor leagues either. They need to add in a bat on the major league roster and I think we have a pretty good idea of who that would be. Otherwise why trade him? The market has been set with the Atlanta-DBacks trade.
