QUOTE(Be Good @ Mar 5, 2005 -> 12:23 AM) Dam I read in the NY newspaPers today that the Jets and Giants want him too. And the Dolphins said that he has no trade value. Not at the contract he was on, plus there a few veteran QB's out there who are probably a little more talented than him. He's a great backup but he's never going to be a starter. The problem is for Chicago, whoever the QB is, he ain't going to be protected very well unless Angelo makes some serious upgrades in that area.

QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 5, 2005 -> 01:50 AM) Harris can steal a base.. WOW. If that is all that matter than WHy no love for Spods? Look I don't see what people love for Harris is at all.. Yes he is great with the Glove but Hell So was "MVP" Clayton, who could also steal some bases...They both have a major problem hitting the ball, something that is needed in the game. Clayton with the Sox in 2002 - .251 with a .295 OBP. Harris with the Sox in 2004 - .262 with a .343 OBP. Plus Clayton was definitely making more than Harris made.

Dang that's a damn hard question. It wouldn't be a Burger Joint since SuperSize Me taught us something very important, and I don't eat Subway, just never been a big sandwich person. I'd probably say a Seafood Restarunt that has a lot of variety with good Fish and Chips.

Some secrets for a good St. Patrick's Day for all of you Illinois College Students; 1 - Find a good place to hide your beer. 2 - Find some actual good drinking buddies. 3 - Cheerleaders and suppliers of alcohol are always welcome.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 06:29 PM) Fish dbaho, he never signed up. But that site it pimp. They just added this points feature and you can save it up to buy stuff from the store. You can also steal money from other members, give rep points, challenge people in the arcade, etc. They are also adding sub forums for baseball. It is turning into a sports forum not just strickly a basketball forum. I do not know how they can possibly run that message board with 75 forums and adding several more. It runs so smooth now that it is not even funny. Ok maybe it's time that I do.

QUOTE(KWs OK for Me @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 08:58 PM) Than there is no more money that they could possibly throw towards another starting pitcher. Especially one who will command around 10 mil. If I not mistaken, Garland is the only one who is signed only through this year. Does he hit FA after this year or still arbitration eligible? But I'm getting way to far ahead of myself. Go White Sox!! Haha, lets win a spring training game That's the question KW and the Sox have to ask themselves. Is it worth acquiring a pitcher like Sheets for the cost of some real good prospects and is it worth for our rotation to take up about half of our payroll no matter how good it may be? Is it easier long - term payroll flexibility wise to let a prospect like B-Mac develop in the rotation when he's ready, and use the money you save instead of Sheets on improving otherparts of the ballclub in the lineup and bullpen?

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 08:45 PM) I know he's Korean, not Japanese, but it appears as if the White Sox have become one of the prefered destinations for these asian imports. Of course, this one could have something to do with Man Soo's influence, but Shingo, Iguchi, and possibly this guy. That's a trend. Down the line with a bunch of Asians on our team, the White Sox could really make some money in Asia from merchandising, TV Networks over there etc. if they play their cards right. There seems to be 3 preferred markets for Japanese or Korean players coming over, New York, the West Coast (Seattle and San Diego) and Chicago.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 08:39 PM) I am just saying for a couple years now even before he went crazy i have always heard his name mentioned with the white sox. I am gonna go out on a limb though and say that get something done with him. The Brewers will need a young stud outfielder to replace Carlos Lee when his deal finishes next season, Anderson or Sweeney would be perfect. Considering what Atlanta gave up for Hudson and St. Louis for Mulder, it could cost a B-Mac and Anderson OR Anderson or Sweeney + Tracey and Young or Ricks (something like that).

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 06:35 PM) Rams signed Chris Claiborne...I believe 3 years, $10.5 mill Does Mike Martz learn anything? Coakley and Claiborne are NOT going to upgrade the Rams defense, especially for the price they signed at. Hell if I was Angelo, I'd be taking a look at Kyle Turley if he's healthy.
