Bulls looking very sluggish early.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) If he is anything like Chan-Ho before his injuries, you sign him and you sign him quickly. Even if he doesn't pan out, a minor leauge contract isn't going to bury you. Best case scenario: he impresses in the minors and can contribute at the major league level. Worst case scenario: some very nice PR, but ultimately, you lose the gamble and have to eat a minor league contract. Roll the dice. Definitely worth the risk. Since he's been on military service for 4 years, he won't have much wear and tear on his arm at the moment, which can only be a good thing. Good to see the Sox thinking outside the box, and the Asian connection working again for them.

First I've heard about it, I'll have a browse around to see if there's any news.

QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 08:57 AM) Damon and Caberea at the top= 1 WS Team.. Enuff said. Let's just expand on this a little. Damon's OBP - .380 Cabrera's OBP - (Season .306) (Boston .320) Now let's have a look at the White Sox's top of the order; Harris OBP - .343 Rowand OBP- .361 Boston top of the order OBP = .700 Chicago top of the order OBP = .704 Cabrera + Damon's salary - $6,000,000 + $8,000,000 = $14,000,000 Harris + Rowand's salary - $318,500 +$340,000 = $658,500

Tonight's Prediction: Me-Mac continues to hog the ball, and put up 35+ on about 30-40% shooting, while Yao will whisper profanities in Chinese, while Van Gundy goes for the not so subtle route.

Kelly's pretty much a lock to head back to Cleveland anyways, even if they draft a QB which is doubtful.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 01:23 PM) Duhon does a good job and his offense has been steadily improving. The problem is Duhon still is young and obviously has to learn, but he is a good defensive point guard at this point and should only get better, imo. I don't ever think he'll be a star, but he is a TRUE point guard and as BG develops he'll look really nice coming off the bench spelling both Hinrich and Gordon. The problem is, is Skiles ever going to start Hinrich and Gordon together? They'll get abused defensively against bigger guards especially come playoff time.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 04:40 PM) We figure about 50 lbs. That's pretty good size but not terribly huge. It's probably bigger than my dog and cat put together already.

QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 04:47 PM) I am fine giving him 8 mil a year, but not anything more. If he wants more, move Fields to 1B, keep our pitching in tact and watch the young offense grow with guys like Anderson and Sweeney waiting in the wings. I think right now our "cornerstone" pieces are Buehrle and Rowand. The only problem I have with that scenario is what if Crede sucks it up again this season, and you lose both of them. Fields will have to stay at 3B in that scenario, unless we can sign a FA 1B / DH or 3B.

QUOTE(BridgeportHeather @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 04:14 PM) One word, qwerty...SPEED! They have to get on base first.

QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 03:08 PM) They have the talent to back it up.. This is what a farm system is for. I hope you aren't implying that the Red Sox's farm system is good. Can you name some of their prospects besides Hanley Ramirez for me?

QUOTE(Yoda @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 03:11 PM) WTF are you guys talking about? Hillary Swank deserves that Oscar. Now all we need is Clint Eastwood for Best Actor. And you know that ain't gonna happen.

QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 02:08 PM) No. She's a gorgeous girl, why she would pick such an ugly and unflattering dress is beyond me. The same goes for Scarlett Johanssen's hair. Portman went with the toga look from last year supposedly.

QUOTE(southsideirish @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 01:23 PM) I would bet that you are wrong. They have to get rid of Woodson just to be able to fit Moss under the salary cap. There is no way they will be able to afford Jordan as well. They're going to release some other players as well such as Parella, Sapp and Washington possibly. Norv Turner is insistent on getting a power RB, and they want Jordan.
