"isn't that great?" It's not even close to great. There is literally zero upside

The Future of the White Sox TV Broadcast Team

Not me. IIRC he and his family live in Florida. The fox gig is a good one because he's at home 4-5 days a week. He'd never be home if he took this job unless he uprooted his family -
Now there's an idea: move the Sox to Iceland!
-
He way he kind of made a hand gesture & looked at his phone with a smirk makes me think the Sox never called him before
-
So... what? I never said anything about Caglianone, the Mets, Dodgers or Orioles.. and I certainly never mentioned school shootings or deportations My question is pretty obvious: these prospects don't seem to be destined for superstars (not just due to on field performance but also because they were never super hyped to begin with), the owner is a f***, & the GM seems to be a bit over his head And yes, Montgomery had his first good 2-3 week stretch in 2 years and was promoted almost right after, but yeah go team! I once again ask- YOU I guess- how will this team ever be consistent contenders?

Jerry is the Trail Blazers not being stupid as s%*# and taking Jordan away from being the worst owner in sports history, even worse than Bill Wirtz was But hey, keep up the water carrying

He was drafted

Wrong.. AGAIN

On one hand you're arguing that Ishbia has power "now" and on the other you're saying maybe he's not in control and maybe we should be worried, so which is it?
-
Oops
-
Well that seems to be the only solution right now which I acknowledge, and albeit it being early, does anyone have confidence that any of those guys in paragraph #1 are going to be superstars?
-
Smith is struggling to throw strikes, Schultz isn't as good this year, Montgomery took a step back and somehow got promoted, Teel is struggling, Vargas' hot streak is over, Quero is likely never going to move the needle, and Meidroth is JAG (if I'm wrong here, so be it. I admittedly haven't paid much attention this year or last because I'm so burnt out with this franchise) Knowing the organization won't be spending a ton of money in the next few years, what is the path here? They once had Moncada, Cease, Kopech, Robert, Giolito, etc and they stunk Right now things are very bleak. How do they EVER become consistently competitive?
-
It's unfortunate because I don't believe the Sox can develop s%*# but on the other hand taking another college player would be underwhelming
-
Ravech sounds like he's truly sick of watching Fedde pitch and who can blame him? He is complete s***
-
You expected the Sox to not be idiotic?

Grant Taylor set to join White Sox in HOU
soxfan49 replied to Sleepy Harold's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Is Taylor destined to stay in the bullpen or will he (hopefully) be a starter down the road? -
I remember when Moncada, Kopech and Robert were on the way too I don't trust any of the guys you mentioned will be the ones that turn this garbage heap around

Thank god

What are you looking forward to this off season
soxfan49 replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The start, because the end means baseball is closer, if you consider this organization is capable of playing baseball -
f*** off you f***ing p***y
