  1. Eloy is 2-3. Anderson has a SB. Lopez wasn't good
  2. Enough with the Gould stuff. He stunk and missed big kicks in his final year here and went on to not be wanted in NY either. 4.1 ypc is mediocre which means 2/3 seasons were mediocre. It's not "essentially" anything. It's a 6th rounder and if Howard plays well, it's a 5th. Yu don't keep him because he can't catch and can't run fast. Would've been perfect in the league 15 years ago. He averaged 4.06 ypc in his final 6 games and 3.50 in his first 6 games. Yeah he really had a great end of the year. He's going to get 5-6 carries a game in Philly. If no team NFL is willing give up anything for a player, it should tell you how good that player is. Us as fans need to stop overreacting. For the most part those people are right. Davis a better RB at this stage and just like Pace found Howard, he'll find another solid RB in this draft
  3. Yeah, silly Bears, trading a sub 4 ypc, slow, declining RB in the last year of his deal for a draft pick. Asinine to be exact He reminds me too much of Howard. Give me Darrell Henderson
  4. To be fair then if he missed one hanger in his one MLB game he definitely blows
  5. Bears got quite a bit out of JH, but it was obvious he didn't fit in this particular offense. His role in Philly will probably be a 7-9 carry/game role, and it would've been less here. No one knows him better than this organization, and stats show he's declining, so maybe his body is as well. I wish him the best, but in his last year of his first deal, it makes sense to get whatever for him now.
  6. No hitter can hit a perfect breaking ball. It's not like he's missing hangers. They were great pitches. It is what it is.
  7. Can't wait for 32 year old Rick Porcello or the 34 year old somewhat local boy Tanner Roark next offseason!!!!
  8. No, I'm going to blame Hahn. Reinsdorf is a joke and we all know it, but if you think Hahn and KW are capable, you're an even bigger idiot than they are.
  9. So you're definitely Palka, huh?
  10. When the Sox are winning 78-84 games every year from 2021-2024 because no one is signing here because 1) the organization is a joke or 2) every good player got an extension, you'll remember how big of a loser Rick Hahn is for not guaranteeing another 50 million dollars to a 26 year old hall of famer.
  11. RT @Feinsand: According to sources, Justin Verlander and the Astros are moving toward a deal on an extension. It’s believed to be a two-year deal in the $66M range. The money will obviously be spent
  12. both sides close, per Rosenthal THE MONEY WILL BE SPENT
  13. It's only two years but $12M/year for Houston is a lot. As a situational pass rusher he wouldn't have made sense in Chicago, plus he likely wanted a bigger role than that. Good for the Colts though. Houston's hurt a lot and isn't the same player, but he'll immediately be one of the better players on that defense.
  14. yeah, I'd say "good for Snell." That could be one of the, if not the, biggest contracts TB has ever given out. f*** the Rays.
  15. It was obvious last year, too. He came out and said he isn't negotiating with the team that trades for him and when the time comes, no one is getting a discount. Trading major prospects for him to try to negotiate would have been a waste of time.
  16. Yeah, I'm with you. Wasn't it pretty well known that Machado was going to test free agency no matter what?
  17. Yeah, Stone pretty much confirmed this on the broadcast the other day
  18. If he's a top 10 hitter in 2023 for $6.1M, I'd say it's a crazy win
  19. I work in the financial services industry and my advice on this is to consolidate. I know it sounds cool to have money with JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, BMO Harris, Chase, Northwestern Mutual, Merrill Lynch, Voya and every other company in the world, but the fact is, it'll be much easier for your family if it's all in one spot and you're double checking your beneficiaries often. Tip: don't forget to add beneficiaries to your bank accounts. My dad passed two years ago and had money all over. Still, my mom is trying to get it all into one spot and is still discovering funds unexpectedly. Going to your county building and adding a death deed on your home or putting your home into a trust (much more costly) are good plans, too. If you go route #2, make sure you have a bank account opened in that name because the funds from the home sale will come to the name of the trust.
