You just love to instigate trouble here on Soxtalk. Its not going to be long before I4E reads this thread and goes off on a rant where he uses quotes to describe every objectionable word. "Palis" seems to be one that always pops up. Anyone who objects is swifly labeled an Anti-Semite.... And of course the argument wouldn't be complete without Sideshowapu objecting to I4E's claims. He was undoubtedly post graphs/charts that show the disproportionate number of Palestinians killed during the Middle East Conflict while completly ignoring the current topic. Regardless, both are the only two posters who can argue passionately without the use of personal insults. They are so completely opposite in the poltical views that it provides an interesting debate: I frequentlly catch up on events in the middle east by reading through their threads. May Sideshowapu and I4E never stop fighting.......

Your second mistake was assuming Shingo would battle for the closer spot. He has been absolutey dreadful this spring, and today might of been the first 1-2-3 inning he has pitched through 12 games (and this was achieved against a Giants "B" lineup.) f***ing Botch hasn't impressed me much either. Surprised there has been no thread dedicated to this holy day among us of Irish descent. Anyone that lives in the vicinity of the parade route knows how wild it gets; for that alone its worth the trip. If your considering the day on the South side don't bring your kids, because this isn't a family orientated event. Last year I parked 3 or 4 blocks west of Kedzie and had to walk all the way to Western Ave. I would recommend arriving early and leaving early (or staying late)....just avoid going home when its over. Many people complain about the rampant drinking......well for that I would tell them to go to the Downtown Irish parade and bore yourself to death. South side Irish parade is where the party is at, and hopefully many of you (like me) will be sporting your sox apparel while pounding down a few.
