  1. Bad Blood? From the title, Kiley makes it seem as if the Sox dislike the entire team when it was one player who slid hard. Why are Sun Times journalist attempting to create their own trouble? Maybe they are still pissed that Frank didn't explode on Ozzie.....
  2. Amateur. I'm currently on Level 28....
  3. If I wasn't a student at Illinois-Chicago I wouldn't mind that comment......but until Fri. game is over: :fyou Honestly, if UIC puts up a good fight (as they did two years ago against Oklahoma) then I'll be satisfied. Of course a win would be great: but we lack size, defense, and free throw percentage as a team. It sure doesn't help our cause that Kansas is practically playing within their own backyard....
  4. My friend sent it to me a couple days ago, and I swear I had not been that scared in my entire life. After the first few frames I began to wonder why she labeled the shockwave clip "funny;" it was a devious diversion.
  5. Ashlee Simpson I go for information on her upcoming record deal.
  6. :puke I have NEVER heard a voice so repulsive in my life. Atleast now she rests besides the dirt that once covered her filthy, hippy body. Back to the main topic: Loaizas performace today is nothing to get worried about. He could be experiencing a dead-arm period that has carried over from last season, or maybe he hasn't found his pitching groove yet.
  7. For Steff or anyone else that is still up, I have a great shockwave file that will help you fall asleep. (Be sure to have your volume up so you can here the music). http://www.starterupsteve.com/swf/subliminal.html *For anyone that has seen it, don't ruin the surprise.
  8. Riding on a plane tomorrow are you? Then I recommend the following movies to cure your insomnia: Final Destination Fearless ALIVE. Have a nice trip, Steff.
  9. You just love to instigate trouble here on Soxtalk. Its not going to be long before I4E reads this thread and goes off on a rant where he uses quotes to describe every objectionable word. "Palis" seems to be one that always pops up. Anyone who objects is swifly labeled an Anti-Semite.... And of course the argument wouldn't be complete without Sideshowapu objecting to I4E's claims. He was undoubtedly post graphs/charts that show the disproportionate number of Palestinians killed during the Middle East Conflict while completly ignoring the current topic. Regardless, both are the only two posters who can argue passionately without the use of personal insults. They are so completely opposite in the poltical views that it provides an interesting debate: I frequentlly catch up on events in the middle east by reading through their threads. May Sideshowapu and I4E never stop fighting.......
  10. Your second mistake was assuming Shingo would battle for the closer spot. He has been absolutey dreadful this spring, and today might of been the first 1-2-3 inning he has pitched through 12 games (and this was achieved against a Giants "B" lineup.) f***ing Botch hasn't impressed me much either. Rotoworld seems to share my sentiment: http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...ort=MLB&id=6218
  11. Surprised there has been no thread dedicated to this holy day among us of Irish descent. Anyone that lives in the vicinity of the parade route knows how wild it gets; for that alone its worth the trip. If your considering the day on the South side don't bring your kids, because this isn't a family orientated event. Last year I parked 3 or 4 blocks west of Kedzie and had to walk all the way to Western Ave. I would recommend arriving early and leaving early (or staying late)....just avoid going home when its over. Many people complain about the rampant drinking......well for that I would tell them to go to the Downtown Irish parade and bore yourself to death. South side Irish parade is where the party is at, and hopefully many of you (like me) will be sporting your sox apparel while pounding down a few.
  12. Spring Training or not, a loss to the Cubs is hard to digest. :puke :fthecubs
  13. This scenario with Konerko is very familiar..........
  14. Borowskis not sweating, somethings very wrong.
  15. Well, even if we lose I'll just tell Cub fans that our B team faced their A team. That should hold them off for awhile
  16. Cotts with a wild pitch, Jackson moves into third. Hubbard strikes out........LIKE A DAMN FOOL. Two outs.
  17. Cotts hits Jackson in the elbow.....too bad it wasn't Sammy Sosa
  18. I believe its time to warm up that bullpen. Jackson hit a very ominous foul ball with homerun distance.
  19. Yes Chip....big strikeout. The Cubs stud reliever strikes out a third string catcher; it must be huge
  20. Cotts pops a bunt on the third strike for out one. I believe thats the only Sox strikeout of the game.
  21. Rowand singles off Letroy Hawkins to lead off the inning....its time to give this bastard the loss.
  22. Nice inning by Cotts: 2 K's and a fly out to left.
  23. Cotts strikes out his second man of the inning. 2 outs
  24. Willie takes advantage of Corey Pattersons ackward catch to steal third. Thatta boy WILLIE
  25. Why is Mark Prior and Kerry Woods wives on WGN? I see.....they are collected canned foods to distribute among the poor.
