I'd be pissed if the Sox had to pitch through that downpour- GAMETHREAD 4/13/22: Sox vs Mariners (Keuchel vs Ray) 6:10 pm CDT
It's raining buckets up here on the north side- Sox outdrew Cubs on their home openers
Then back to 6th during October. The guy simply sucks during cold weather months. Veteran privilege is one hell of a thing, though.- A's interested in Andrew Vaughn/Sox in Montas
This thread has everything that makes Soxtalk great in it- A's interested in Andrew Vaughn/Sox in Montas
The Soxtalk mods are too busy pushing the mainstream liberal agenda to be Hector and Mike, imo. I could be wrong though. Crazier things have happened.- A's interested in Andrew Vaughn/Sox in Montas
Wow, he just referred to Vaughn as "really bad OF". Screw this guy. Zero professionalism.- A's interested in Andrew Vaughn/Sox in Montas
Wow, the board looks way better in black... And to think I've been looking at this forum with a white background like a peasant.- Current Team Mt. Rushmore
TLR, Anderson, Giolito, Abreu- White Sox Winner!
I've garnered enough seniority and respect around here to get away with it- White Sox Winner!
Brutalized the Detoilet Kitty Cats!- Giolito leaves with injury, being evaluated
McClure- Vaughn's Homer
That's one hell of a weak side platoon DH we got.- Old Sock Drawer, ex Sox player discussion
Strasburg- 4/9 Games
@Y2Jimmy0 what do you think of Yolbert now? I think everybody was pretty down on his hit tool when he was signed. He hit really well in AA and AFL recently.- 4/9 Games
@BamaDoc back in action with the game threads! Hell ya- GAMETHREAD 4/9/22: Sox vs Tigers (Cease vs Mize) 12:10 pm CST
You disgust me- Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
So until we have the data, we just definitively say that a guy sucking is a result of long covid? Just about every basketball player got covid. Why aren't we seeing long covid impacts with them? You said 10-30%. You'd think we'd be seeing major impacts.- Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
"These symptoms can persist for months, decreasing the quality of life of numerous individuals." "COVID-19 has demonstrated to affect a multi-variety of organs, including the musculoskeletal system, causing symptoms such as fatigue, arthralgia, myalgia and muscle weakness, which can persist during weeks or months after the end of the infection" So where does it say that it can persist for years?- Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
Do you have any studies showing that covid reduces people's strength long term to this extent?- Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
Nobody can really prove this to be true. I believe that covid can have long term effects, but zapping his power? Maybe he's just a great player that benefited from juiced balls, instead of an MVP caliber player.- Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
I've seen about enough Josh Harrison already. He's going to be added to the long list of "cheap" FA signees that end up being a complete waste of money. Burger looks like a dude that can hit. Plus, he made that slick play at 2B recently. I can't find the video. It's out there though. Either Burger to 2B or Yoan to 2B.- Giolito leaves with injury, being evaluated
