Dallas was the veteran cy young winner on the team. After his display of leadership on the Sox, I find it hard to believe he wasn't a leader there.

People make mistakes and they learn. You hire Hinch if he is the best candidate out there, no question.

During Stone's call into the score, he had high praise for Hinch and mentioned that he spoke with him very recently. If Stone is indeed close with the FO, Hinch seems like the definite frontrunner. We also have Dallas here who may be close with Hinch.

Definitely a possibility. He's shown how great he can be in the bullpen. Not sure if they'll want to keep jerking him between starter and reliever.

They stretch him out at a low level in the minors. He has very few innings under his belt. The most he threw in college is 65 innings. I would guess he needs at least 2 years in the minors to stretch out and fine tune his repertoire.

He could definitely be worse than Eloy. Imagine putting Paulie out there. Not saying Vaughn is that slow, but let's me real. Assuming 1st basemen would field better than Eloy is a huge stretch. Eloy flashes decent range at times.

This Dodgers team is just historically great. I wouldn't be surprised if they only lose 1 postseason game like the 2015 White Sox and 99 yankees. Their offense and bullpen are arguably the best in the league. Top 3 at minimum. Starting staff has some great weapons. Defense is worse than I would have expected according to fangraphs. The metrics reallyyy don't like their infield defense.

Getting Nimmo would be so damn nice. He put up some great numbers this year. His wRC+ of 148 would be 2nd best on the Sox. I feel they'll keep him around given the new owner, unfortunately. They may be buyers.
