Sheets up, Hamilton back, Lamb to IL, Gonzalez down

Featured Replies

Was getting worried. It's been a few days since we had an IL trip.

Lamb almost hit a walkoff homer with that injury...impressive

What is going on with all these injuries? Unbelievable! But atleast Hamilton is back.

Abreu not going on the IL is a good sign, though I'm still not sure why we are carrying 14 pitchers

I saw him come up a bit lame legging out a catch in foul territory in LF in the 9th on Sunday. He stayed in game but could see that it bit him.  Well here it is...

Going into a series facing 3 righties with the outfield rotation the Sox have now is not promising

He looked like he came up lame after a play in LF on Sunday.

Collins/Grandal need to both be in the lineup all 3 days and Sheets at least 2 of the 3.

Surprised Sheets over Gonzalez due to outfield situation.

I disagree. Abreu needs an IL stint IMO

I wonder if he plays against RHP will he only bat RH  since it was said he will only bat RH when he returns. Hitting RH is his strong side. Has he given up switch hitting or is it only due to injury and temporary?

The March to the gallows continues

oh look another leg injury, time for some new strength and conditioning coaches

Billy is such a bad hitter, he doesn't need a rehab assignment.

Service time manipulation.

Well in theory, Hamilton is back who can cover CF, so the big difference between Gonzalez and Sheets was that Gonzalez can play defense.  If you don't need that, no need for Luis.
