I know it is early, but the jackassery has been out in full form for your Chicago White Sox already. Poor fundamentals and boneheaded plays in both games. This seems like a recurrent issue with the club. Maybe it sticks out more when the team is trash. When is the last fundamentally sound White Sox club you can remember? Was it really 05, maybe 06? Also, what the hell is the reasoning behind it? Bad players? Dumb players? Poor coaching?

I only caught two of them. He let Billy Hamilton tag and take 2nd on a poorly played flyout to RF. He let a ball he should have gotten land in the warning track. Just played it poorly. Any average fielder would make the play.

I think Hahn and Kenny screwed up majorly by missing on the big free agents. You're seeing all the great players get locked up early this year. The players that do get to free agency will get signed by the "big market" teams. This rebuild will fall squarely on pieces acquired from trades and the draft. Not good.

People complaining about the team aren't necessarily "miserable". It doesn't take much to make a post chastising a player for messing up. Doesn't mean watching the game pains them. Fans still want to see Yoan, Eloy, etc. Playing forum police and hounding people who make negative posts is equally if not more annoying. Ignore people if the negativity bothers you so much.

This is a pretty depressing franchise.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. The Tatis trade will forever go down as one of Hahn's worst. Shields was a complete bum at the time. It is the epitome of the White Sox flawed approach post 2005.
