Eloy Jimenez discussion thread
He's a young dude who just got a big contract. He even mentioned that he was pressing recently. He'll come around.

Eloy Jimenez discussion thread
That's easier to say after the torrid run Robert has been on. Eloy was even better hitting wise. I thought he was a sure thing from the start. There were rumors during his last spring training with the Cubs that many thought his bat was MLB ready then.

Sox & Tribe, 6/2/19, Gio & Plesac
Since we're using the archaic RBI stat, how about we go back to bloodleting the sick? Get that bad blood out of them!

Sox & Tribe, 6/2/19, Gio & Plesac
He's been a great Sox player. But he has been historically unclutch. Never does ANYTHING when it matters. I could speak fallacies about Jose and it would make a lot of people happier.

Of course I do. I'm one of the more well versed and up to date on statistics. By far.

BABIP alone doesn't tell the story. Don't come at me until you check up on the quality of his contact.

He's been absolutely awful. Right when the Sox start making noise, the dude craps the bed. I guarantee once they are mathematically eliminated he will produce. No pressure then. The guy is a bum when it matters.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Yeah, we aren't getting Nico for Colome. No chance. No chance in hell.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
As much as I like prospects, especially when acquired for relievers, the Sox are only 1 out of the wild card. It wouldn't hurt to just go for it for the hell of it and prove to your young studs like Anderson that you will go for it. He's a leader and has been through a good amount of lousy rebuild years. At the same time, relievers are volatile. Colome is at the absolute top of his game. Selling high ain't bad if you get a really good package. You gotta trade him if the price is right.

2019 MLB draft thread
Keith Law hates the White Sox though. Vaughn gets drafted by the Sox and he's a fringe 100 prospect

This is stupid

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Colome is not even close to Q as a trade piece. That's a crazy comparison. Hell, I'll eat my shoe without any salt, pepper, or hot sauce if they get Nico for Colome.

I honored my ban bet, but the admins didn't want to lose a valuable member. They wouldn't enforce it.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
That's what I'm saying. People here think we will get a prospect like Nico Hoerner for him easily. No chance. I will personally eat my shoe and record it for soxtalk to see if we land Nico Hoerner for Colombe.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
On this date in history, WBWSF ascended to levels of respect only seen by others such as Ozzie Guillen, Hawk Harrelson, and Avisail Garcia. 6/1/19 - WBWSF etched into the greg775 Mount Rushmore.

Yoan should have gotten 2 with his speed there. Bench his ass Ricky. You know you want to.

The path back to .500 in our sights?
I would love to dump Abreu for prospects. If Hahn can trade him for a decent 'spect or two, I'd give him major props

Hoerner mashed in AA so far. Looks much better than Madrigal

Sox aren't getting Hoerner. That would be dope though

2019 MLB draft thread
Man, if the Sox get Adley "Crushman" Rutschman, I'd be thrilled. I'm ok with any of the top 4 guys TBH

Bummer = Thornton 2.0?
Dude throws 96 mph gas with good sink from the left side. Have the Sox found their next dominant left handed pitcher?
