That player would be carrying an unreal babip around .500. I'd imagine he hits the ball harder than any other players and with not much launch. Wouldn't happen, but obviously acceptable.

Imagine if Tim Anderson or any other player did the Jason "The Jet" Terry move and stuck their arms out like an airplane while rounding the bases. All hell would break loose. But my God that would be awesome.

The funny thing is that many of those arguing against Tim's "antics" are the very same ones who would complain about the world being too PC now.

People hate on Jason, but I'm a big fan. I feel it is also more difficult when you are a commentator of a team that absolutely blows. Give him a better product and he wins more people over imo

Palka needs to go down for Tilsen/Cordell/Delmonico. How long will they keep screwing our pitchers over with him out there? I'd argue they all have equal or greater ceilings than he does.

Yeah, because Abreu is hitting like trash and will likely be paid more than he is worth in the off-season. Yonder is a lefty who plays competent first base. If he keeps hitting well, he will have value at the deadline and possibly next year

Do we give yonder the ABs to reach his option, or trade him at the deadline if he's hitting that well?

Look at what Robertson, Kahnle, and Frazier got from the Yankees... We aren't getting anything better than Narvaez for Colombe.

The guy was unhittable in 28 regular season games for the Cubs. The wear and tear he saved from other relievers can't be overstated. The trade was worth it.

I just looked up Tim Raines stats. Damn, that guy was productive for a long long time. His White Sox years were still pretty impressive
