The Sox organization disappoints year after year. They have failed their fanbase once again. I don't see anything changing in the near future. They got lucky in 2005. Jerry won't pay. We won't see a winner. If I live in this city, I might as well cheer for a team with a great FO and an owner willing to spend. I know it is blasphemy, and possibly a spur of the moment overreaction, but as of now I will be cheering for the Cubs and attending their games. This was the final straw.

Yonder and Jay are going to get absolutely torched this year by the fans. The FO brought this on themselves though.

Any tips on where to buy some affordable White Sox gear? The prices can get pretty ridiculous from the typical retailers. I was going to purchase peavy44's onesie, but unfortunately his thread got locked. Any tips? Not too worried about quality. Hoping to get some fresh stuff for spring training.

These arguments fall flat because they completely ignore the pressure he took off other pitchers. He was flat out dominant in the regular season. His postseason stats aren't as bad as people are describing them here. First off, ERA is a lousy stat for evaluating pitchers. If maddon didn't use and abuse Aroldis, those innings and they wear and tear would be put on other pitchers in that bullpen. Aroldis was absolutely a big piece in their regular season and post season.

Chapman was huge for them in the playoffs. I get that you hate the Cubs and all, but that shouldn't blind you from reality. The Cubs don't win without Chapman.
