I guess you could call me a massochist here...lol! But, I don't just follow the Blackhawks. I check out NHL.com, TSN.ca, Faceoff.com, and other great hockey resources every day in order to keep "up to date" with the goings on around the league. If it's hockey, and it's on TV (or I have the time and energy to go and watch it live), I'm watching it!

Awww, TheBigHurtBEGOOD...How nice of a thing for you to say! Right now, I'm in my final semester of college, which is the most intense semester of one's scholarly life. I'm going to be student teaching in under a month with graduation in May. So, my online time will be very limited at times. You'll understand more about this when you approach the threshold of your career. In addition, hockey season is in full-gear. As you may know, hockey is by far my favorite sport. So, until the Stanley Cup Finals are a couple weeks being over, I don't really change what I pay attention mostly to. Hell, the only real times hockey doesn't dominate my mind is from the end of June through the end of July (training camp begins in August)...That's only a month of time. No knock on football, baseball, or basketball...But, hockey's just #1 in my heart! It is because of this that literally 90% of my non-scholarly time on the internet is spent at Blackhawkzone.com. I'll be around more when baseball season gets going though, so don't you worry! Again, thanks for the concern, and :begood for me, okay?

This is an up-and-coming team that is only going to get more exciting to watch as Rex Grossman becomes more seasoned. Give them a couple more years, and they'll be true contendors. It's just a shame that Saban resigned with LSU!

Pekin is a town just outside of Peoria...It's pretty much your typical central Illinois hick town, and it's three hours away from Chicago. There is absolutely NOTHING around that area (or in central Illinois, for the record). You KNOW you're in nothingness when the lead story of the newscasts is about a farmer who's tractor broke down! All Illinois has to offer is in Chicagoland.

Yes, and it came against the Dead Things... I was at last night's game, and, at least they were able to get a point out of this game after trailing by two midway into the game. I'm not happy with their lackluster performance (especially by Archie) in OT though. I'm going to the next two games as well...MAYBE they might beat San Jose tomorrow night?

I had a bit of a hangover today, so I called in at work for only the second time ever. I had a few shots of banana rum, some mixers, wine, and champaign. The celebration was awesome. After going to the Blackhawks' game, I went to the apartment of one of my Blackhawkzone friends in Lakeview, and we had a Blackhawkzone party. I got back home somewhere between 5 and 6, after having about five huge cups full of water. This year's gonna be awesome though (and HUGE). Graduate from college, move into a place of my own, and start my career. I can't wait!

I'm not going anywhere during this season...But the rest of the family is leaving for Seattle on Friday morning and won't be returning til the next Saturday...I hope they don't have any flight complications.

Unfortunately, there's only ONE week left in this season, and then we Bears fans get to wait through yet another training camp before the next season begins. Hopefully this bunch will all stay in town over the offseason and work together as a unit as to keep the cohesion.

TheBigHurtBEGOOD, You were supposed to clear this up with ME before you did ANYTHING with that restaurant...They need people who can crunch numbers in order to run restaurants, and you just can't do that. Didn't you ask for a personal consultant??? I'm ashamed of you!

Ya know, I never thought to give CubKilla and RedPinStripes (and JoeBatters ) the props they so deserve for putting together great memories from SNR. Hopefully more will come in 2004!
