Are you the traveling secretary, or something?

8/24- Sox at Orioles, 6:05
Correct

8/24- Sox at Orioles, 6:05
The mojo was gone about 2 months into 2021. It’s not hard to figure out what lead us to this situation.

Probably need to go 4-1 rest of this week, TBH. Getting buried in a hurry.

2023 Schedule Released
I feel quite the opposite. Playing 19 intradivison games gets awfully boring. Seeing new teams and stadiums is fun. It might be a logistical nightmare but it makes the fan experience better IMO.

White Sox vs. Orioles 8/23 6:05 CDT (Cease vs. Voth)
Welp, Sox back on life support. This 1-5 stretch coupled with Cleveland continuing to play good baseball has just about sealed the Sox fate. Fire everyone.

White Sox vs. Royals 8/22 1:10CDT (Kopech vs. Lynch)
I don’t really think AV is that disappointing. Dudes is stud at the dish; I’d love to keep him. Just feel like he’s the guy you can get some good value for. A controllable left handed hitting Middle IF would be awesome, but struggle to find a name that makes sense. Eloy is worth more to Sox than anyone else and wouldn’t garner much. Pito a FA obviously so he’s the easy choice, but White Sox. letting Abreu walk and signing Nimmo is the best play, IMO.

This. Sheets should be purely AAA insurance with Burger. You just hope you can get 70 games caught out of Yaz in catching tandem with a defense first FA. But one of Jose, AV or Eloy has to go. I’m keeping Eloy, so it’s one of the other 2 for me. Hard to imagine how bad this squad would be without Pito, but would also be nice to miss his twilight seasons. I’d consider a 2 year $30M deal with Jose and trading AV, but have a really hard time deciding for what, and I’m not doing it for SP.

Actually that isn’t all. Fuck this ump too.

Joe Kelly fucking sucks. That’s the post.

"Project Birmingham": Montgomery, 12 other A-Ball players promoted to AA
Seems unnecessary.

White Sox vs. Guardians 8/21 11:05am CDT (Cease vs. Civale) [Peacock]
Imagine 88 would win it by a few games. 86 probably wins it IMO. Your point stands, tho

Carlos Perez being promoted from Charlotte, Yaz to go on IL (out 10-14 days)
Well out 2 weeks is better than an acl. We’re paying Yaz next season so may as well try to get him 100% so he can catch 60-70 games, take his walks and hopefully find some power. But don’t rush him back in 2 weeks, this season just isn’t meant to be for Yaz.

Does peacock have a camera on the field or how are you getting this footage? Just curious

Where’s he gonna play? Serious question.

White Sox vs. Guardians 8/21 11:05am CDT (Cease vs. Civale) [Peacock]
This doesn’t have the feel of a game that is going to be played.

White Sox vs. Guardians 8/21 11:05am CDT (Cease vs. Civale) [Peacock]
Is that the only offday they have in common ROS?

White Sox vs. Guardians 8/20 5:10pm CDT (Cueto vs. Bieber)
Always been a Grandal guy but losing him for good this season could be a blessing. There’s little chance Zavala/Perez will be worse than he’s been.

White Sox vs. Guardians 8/20 5:10pm CDT (Cueto vs. Bieber)
Eloy has to be IL’d if Robert isn’t ready and he’s expected to miss anything more than the next 2 days. If that happens, gimme Mark Peyton over Haseley.

Eloy is dead. Again.
If I had to guess, Hell be fine. Looked like he slightly overextended his knee.

8/19 Gamethread: White Sox vs. The Artist Formerly Known As The I****ns, Lynn vs. McKenzie
Well on the plus side, if guardians run away with this division, much more likely Tony is gone after this season. That’s all I got.

8/18 Finale vs. Astros (Giolito v. Garcia RHP) 1:10 PM
Can’t argue with that

8/18 Finale vs. Astros (Giolito v. Garcia RHP) 1:10 PM
I honestly think quite the opposite. This game was over anyway. Watching a position player is mildly entertaining in an otherwise shit stain of a game. Wasting an arm that could be used tomorrow would have been a travesty at that point. I do like the idea of a team getting 3 mercy rules per season tho. Obviously would suck for the fans in attendance but would be an interesting add in the future imo. Would save bullpens.
