  1. Welp. Guess it was a knee. No bueno. That makes me much more concerned than a twisted ankle. Right knee too….not the left plant leg. Woof
  2. Yeah. Frankly didn’t really have any options for length after Reylo. Banks pitched 2 Friday. Lambert 3 yesterday. Pen is in shambles.
  3. His stance has been like that all season, really. Maybe a bit more exaggerated since his IL stint. He needs to go back to what he did in 20/21 tho, he has no plate coverage whatsoever with this awful stance.
  4. It didn’t look like a bad injury. Twisted/sprained ankle. Def was in some pain. Would guess they IL him simply because the innings need to be limited anyhow so may as well just give him some rest now.
  5. Is Yermin removed from Charlotte roster while in DFA limbo? Don’t see him listed as an available player today.
  6. It didn’t look that bad. He jammed his left ankle planting. Hopefully just a tweaked ankle and he’ll be fine in short order. As we all know, twisting your ankle can hurt like hell at the moment but be alright in a week or so.
  7. Welp. Didn’t look that bad. Hopefully just a stinger and he’ll be fine by the weekend.
  8. Only went 2 innings, but yes. He started Friday. This is how brutally weak and shallow the Sox RP depth is.
  9. Amazing they kept Yermin on the 40 man for a whole year after he got demoted with absolutely zero intent of bringing him back to Chicago.
  10. Fwiw - Perez hasn’t played in a few days with a minor injury. Charlotte brought up Xavier Fernandez to catch. I don’t think Perez was an option - unfortunate timing for him.
  11. It could, however, stop them from losing winnable games due to managerial gaffes. It could also light a much needed fire under this group.
  12. Is Sunday now; is he fired yet?
  13. Gio deserves plenty of blame but putting Sousa in with a 2 run lead in the 7th is like his 10th fireable offense of the last month.
  14. Yes. In the 7th. And he promptly gave up the 2 run lead as anyone with a brain expected.
  15. Also would have been better to use any of Ruiz, Foster or even Lambert over Sousa in the 7th who is an auto crooked number. That was where it really hurt.
  16. Please please please fire Tony. Bullpen management was PATHETIC today.
  17. Prob Mendick. Believe he’s been emergency catcher in years past.
