  1. Interested to see this return.
  2. He literally said that 15 minutes ago too. He's always all over the damn place.
  3. Good lord, youre a blow hard. At least be consistent.
  4. I guess picking up a legit prospect for an arm that has been really good at the MLB level but was never a big time prospect isn't an awful idea for a team like the Marlins that is YEARS away.
  5. Chisholm ranked #59 prospect in the game by mlb pipeline.
  6. Hmmm...strange. I like Gallen alot.
  7. He's awful. Aren't you buddies with that guy? Kick him in the shin for me next time you see him.
  8. PNoles suggesting on twitter that Sox may non-tender Colome in the offseason? Lol, that guy is such an insufferable eeyore.
  9. 3rd reliever to the Nats.
  10. Another name down.
  11. Surely you're better suited to run a major league baseball organization! Apply for the job!
  12. Probably because we used international money to acquire Burr.
  13. Nice return for Pomeranz. Another guy @Chicago White Sox and I endlessly campaigned for this offseason. Guy sucks, but looks like Giants turned him into a nice prospect in Dubon.
  14. Lopez? Why in the world would we trade Lopez?
  15. Down to under 150 minutes...
  16. My guess is the Sox had no intention of spending the remainder of the 2019 international money (for whatever reason, and if there is something to criticize here, it would be that), so they shipped off Jones to save the pro rated amount of his 2019 salary ($1.75M or so) and his $1.25M buyout for 2020 since they did in fact plan to buy him out. May as well get something for what is going to be nothing. But yah, I guess I get those that are mad about not spending the international money we were allotted, but I think that was pretty clear when July 2 came and went. I know there are so guys who could still pop up, so I guess I get the frustration in that respect. Just don't think its a big deal.
  17. Well, the money wasn't really spent here at all. If anything, money was saved.
  18. Faria has fallen on some tough times, but he had a 3.43 ERA across 87 IP (14 starts) as a rookie in 2017. 84/31 K:BB ratio, 1.17 WHIP. He is nothing super exciting, but he's definitely the exact type of arm the Sox should be trying to find to give an audition to in the rotation the rest of the season. Maybe you strike gold.
  19. Yah, it would. I agree that is disappointing, and said as much.
  20. Ya, that's right. They can only trade him to that club. I don't think they have the option to pull him back. My bad on that.
  21. I just think its hilarious that you refuse to admit you're wrong on this topic.
  22. Ugh. No. That is not how it works. A guy cannot be traded while he is on waivers (unless you trade him to the team that claims him). The process is: 1) DFA player 2) Either place immediately on waivers, or attempt to trade during 7 day window, or release. 3) If acceptalbe trade is not found during 7 day period, place said player on waivers in hopes he clears and can be outrighted to AAA, or release
