  1. Good news. Definitely going to be inside of 4 weeks.
  2. Ultimately I am fine wiht them being aggressive with Cease. There is no way in hell the Sox are waiting until May 2020 to call him up, so whether they call him up in 2 weeks or in September, its the same result. So in that case, I'd rather use those innings towards the big league club. That being said, I'd like to see him get a couple more starts in AAA with a little higher pitch count and try to work through 6 innings a few times, and then give him the call.
  3. Much deserved. Now don't fall off a cliff, Timmy.
  4. Lets not get toooooo far ahead of ourselves here. If he's down with elbow injury, its basically over for him with the Sox. Maybe we get him back to 100% for 2021 (his impending FA season), but what a kick to the dick that would be. Really hoping this isn't that serious.
  5. They aren't really dicking around with Cease. He has pitched over 5 innings in just 1 out of his 5 starts. Some of that may be pitch count limitations and trying to limit his innings early, but I'm totally fine with them taking it a little slow with him. He'll be up before too long.
  6. The fact that they're calling it elbow inflammation and not trying to skirt by with calling it hand blister makes me think it may be somewhat serious.
  7. Unfortunately, there is a very little to blow up. Carlos is pretty much it.
  8. When I first saw it, I was hoping he just needed to skip a start due to his blister. Left elbow inflammation sounds a bit more ominous.
  9. Sox calling Rodon's issue "left elbow inflammation".
  10. Per Sox Twitter.
  11. I don't even think they'll have the worst record in baseball. That honor should go to the Marlins.
  12. If anyone says yes, I have a bet waiting for you.
  13. I legitimately think he's attempting to comp Engel to Eaton.
  14. Assuming you're referring to Rodon, as Rondon's sample size is not nearly enough to draw any conclusions.

Ozzie's MLB managing days are ovah, but I'd take him 100 out of 100 times over Sir Ricky Buntsalot.
  16. Prior to yesterday, Fry has been close to unhittable his precious 8 outings.
  17. Likely another pensman down to AAA tomorrow as well for Giolito. I’ll guess Ruiz.
  18. Not quite sure I get the rush to trade our best SP who’s value can’t be overly high atm.
  19. What a pathetically awful managed inning. My god
  20. He’s good for that. Which is something!
  21. All for Cordell getting at bats. But he just isn’t very good. He has no chance at the plate right now.
  22. lol, Moncada isn't squaring to bunt without being told to do so.
  23. Making Moncada bunt is so stupid
