I think that LaRoache should be the primary First baseman to start the season at least, the team is better defensively when he's on the field, although Abreu has made some good plays to start the year.

My pick to click is the little man (eaton)

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 10, 2015 -> 04:25 PM) If it was Robin's fault the team sucked the last 2 years, how do you look at Garenhire's last 4 years and say he is an upgrade? BRAVO

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 05:22 PM) How about a better point. Why is the f***ing announcer going into the managers office and making demands. The proper answer should of been GFY. Nice job getting Hosmer out by Jennings

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 04:04 PM) Garcia is a terrible outfielder. People called me crazy when I said that his future is at 1B

QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 07:33 PM) most other mocks has him in the top of the 2nd round and climbing. i guess he is having a very good yr. i like it. another player to keep an eye on. see how this will shake up the order. many thanks. To bad we don't have a second round pick

QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 05:27 PM) yeah i kinda of thought of that, but i was wondering if anyone else is hearing anything more??? if he is moving into the first rnd, why?? i mean i know he has power written all over, with a nice avg.... Kiley McDaniel had him as the 26th best prospect in the draft

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 04:59 PM) Ryan Sweeney? I'm joking. Not 100% sure about the Splendid Splinter (hopefully not his personality, either), but a very picturesque swing for a high school kid. Nice frame and projectability. I love Ted Williams personality, my favorite ball player of all time Here is a video of both their swings: Ted Williams Kyle Tucker

QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 10:24 AM) i been reading up on some prospect for the draft, i am starting to see another name being mention in a positive way. i not going to say it has been a lot, but his name is being mention. does anyone else know more about him. Greg Pickett hs outfield http://www.perfectgame.org/players/playerp....aspx?ID=353089 Greg Pickett is a 1B in the majors

To those concerned about his frame, Kyle Tucker is now at 190lbs, he's still at 6'4. Similar body to a young Kris Bryant and my god... does he swing like Ted Williams. Plant HS Kyle Tucker 3/7/2015: Kyle Tucker (Plant HS, FL) Home Run: Kyle Tucker, OF, Plant HS, FL:

Hope he pitches will enough that the Sox can trade him at the deadline, if they eat a good enough portion of his salary they could get a decent prospect, not Chicago "decent" but like a 10 to 15 system guy or INTL cap space.

How do the White Sox stack up - payroll vs MLB

QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 2, 2015 -> 09:06 AM) jeeze..... Dodgers.... now i really hope they bomb in their playoff attempt. anything over $170 mil. just crazy. i am really surprise at the sox. i really thought they spent more.... nice find. Why? If you have the money, you should spend it and use that resource to your advantage. And the Dodgers are going to be great to watch with Friedman running the ship, since one of the reasons they hired him was to bring an more economic sensibility to the franchise. -

QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 1, 2015 -> 03:24 PM) i will very much include Fry, before i see Adolfo get higher in the rank. that is unless Mickler comes out hitting. he is what 18..... no need to add anymore pressure on him. By far the highest ceiling in the system. I wouldnt put Fry before Micker because I see Fry as a reliever. -
QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 1, 2015 -> 11:36 AM) that is my guy... i was really enamored with him, Ian Happ and Kirby.... i think i had a couple of other pitchers before the season started that didn't panned out. Tucker, how far can he rise, also he is rail thin, wait until he puts on 20-30 lbs of good weight / muscle.... the best hitter in the prep class and niceeeee power with a nice avg... now if he can maintain it?? that is the question. Kirby is doing really good this yr so is Happ. Happ the best hitter in college ranks, can play a weak 2b, cf, corners of.... i wonder if he can play 3b? i now found out, according to a blog about Bickford. his secondaries pitches didn't develop as some pro's had hope..... but it is still a long college season. Allard is out due injury for the season. how bout drafting him 4th rnd and buy out his college commitment, if he falls that far?? If Matuella, Russell and Aiken are off the board, I would take Tucker at #8 In a heartbeat

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 1, 2015 -> 11:04 AM) Debate what though? You should always go BPA in the baseball draft. In the first round specifically, you should never worry about a position. http://www.baseballamerica.com/draft/ask-b...s-draft-status/ Also the hype is building around Kyle Tucker.

QUOTE (southside hitman @ Apr 1, 2015 -> 09:32 AM) Also I think we will see a few of the Latin guys emerge onto prospects lists in 2015 and 2016. Luis Martinez, Micker Adolfo, Amado Nunez, Jhoandro Alfaro, and Felix Mercedes to name a few. I was going to say that. I think the top ten prospects in 2016 will be headlined by Adams, Adolfo and whoever they draft at 8 this year. I do think Martinez is a sure fire top ten prospect next year, I have him at thay 10 to 15 range. Alfaro and Nunez will be ranked as well but I dont know about top ten. I really like last year's international signing class. You heard it here, Micker Adolfo will be one of the best prospects in all of bsseball in due time. -

QUOTE (LDF @ Mar 31, 2015 -> 02:23 PM) i know it is an opinion but why?? what has they added to move them up to 16+. btw, i am just using this as a discussion, not as an argument. I think 20 is a good spot, after Rodon not a lot of proven guys
