  1. I'd be shocked if he's still on the active roster after this season.
  2. I'm of the opinion that he needs to pitch more to refine his skills, call me crazy
  3. Liked the decision to leave Crochet in there. Letting him get out of a jam he created, is good for his development.
  4. There willing bench guys out there who are better than Leury. And I’m not asking for much, Leury is horrendous, he’s awful. He’s lucky to be in the bigs. The Sox are too good a team to have a guy like him on the roster. I doubly he could stick in Pittsburgh or Baltimore.
  5. I was going to make a post about free agency but I post this year for now. The Sox need to upgrade their bench and utility guys. They need to replace guys like Leury Garcia with people who can take walks, put up solid OBP’s and guys who hit the ball in the air. They hit the ball on the ground way too much and if their not hitting, the offense can’t get anything going.
  6. I knew the Sox GB rate had to be high but almost 48% of the time? That has to be addressed. Hit the ball in the air.
  7. That's very true but I'd still rather seeing Herhandez hitting 5th or 6th in our injury riddled lineup than bat second, especially when Moncada and Vaughn are there.
  8. Yeah I like Moncada batting second, he should bat there everyday when he's in the lineup and one the day's he not in the lineup, Vaughn should be hitting there. When everyone is healthy I hope the lineup looks like this... Anderson Moncada Abreu Eloy Grandal Robert Vaughn Engel/Goodwin Hernandez
  9. I like the Hernandez addition but he shouldn't be batting second at all. He should bat 7th, 8th or 9th. Especially when Grandal and Robert are healthy.
  10. I think they need depth arms to rest their guys down the stretch. I guess Jonathan Steiver was supposed to be this guy but you can't trust him in the bigs yet
  11. I hope they monitor waivers/the free agent pool for people who can make starts and extend the rotation down the stretch
  12. That offense didn't have Grandal and Robert available.
  13. The Cubs had to eat a substantial portion of this deal
  14. I really want another reliever with the Yankees and Rays loading up with power bats and with the Astros solidifying their bullpen. Fry from Baltimore would be ideal. Or Rodriquez from Pitt
  15. https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/status/1420874112906502147?s=20
  16. I really would love another reliever and someone who can help stretch out the rotation down the stretch.
  17. I'd like to see them trade for a AAAA starter so they can stretch their guys out down the stretch.
  18. Think the Sox could survive shutting Rodon down for a week?
  19. I hope the Sox go after him and sign him, he's a good depth piece. I know that Hahn reportedly likes him a lot as a player, maybe their pro scouting/PD people see something that they can tweak.
  20. The Sox don't even have interesting prospects. Its barren down on the farm. So Im very curious about who they gave up
  21. I was hoping for more of a OBP guy but this should help get the job done.
