  1. They aren't and after my experience with zero communication from the club on when I can actually use my vouchers, I would not recommend them. Had I known I couldn't use them the first 40 games of the season and counting I wouldn't have purchased them.
  2. Ha, I sent an email asking what is going on in April before I initially called them, didn't get a response so after 3 days so I called them. This is not how a MLB team should operate.
  3. I bought the 10 game voucher pass back on March 17th, but never showed up in account manager/never got a chance to buy tickets. When the season started it still wasn't showing up in my account manager so I gave the team a call and they said it would show up when the city lets in more people sometime in mid May. Well that day has passed and it's still not showing up in my Sox account manager. In fact there's nothing that would ever indicate I bought the pass except for the fact they charged my credit card and took my money. I'm just curious if anyone else has bought this voucher pass and if they are experiencing similar issues.
  4. There isn't enough room in that space for a NFL and MLB stadium to be side by side.
  5. I believe Abreu has the power to get this clown fired. I hope he pushes for it but he maybe too nice of a guy.
  6. Cairo is highly regarded, not sure how much he leans on sabermetrics but ideally he is being groomed to eventually take over.
  7. If this guy makes the MLB roster they have to release Hamilton or Lamb to make room for him.
  8. So they plan on releasing Hamilton for this guy? Not that it really matters either way. Both are AAAA players.
  9. Yes, I'd imagine he'd be considered a pretty good starter by WAR standards with those numbers. Here is why I'm optimistic, he hit better vs right handers last year than left handers so he didn't benefit from some type of split situation. I just hope this injury doesn't completely take him out of his rhythm and the progress he showed last year. Also can Mendick play corner OF?
  10. I think Engel can build off his 2020 season at the plate. I think Engel as an everyday CF if he can slash 300/330/480 like he did in 2020 would be just fine for 3 months as we wait for Robert to come back.
  11. Getting Gallo or any other corner OF is not the solution. That just forces Engel to play a subpar CF defensively speaking. Edit: I meant Eaton
  12. Maybe idiots will believe that, I'll choose to believe TLR is a bad manager.
  13. And the HOF excuse can't even be used anymore, we're nearing a 1/5th of the season complete so it's clear to see he's not a good manager anymore. It's not just 1 or 2 bad decisions in a vacuum. It's constant bad lineups and bad in game management. And being in the HOF is for what you did in the past. As Kylo Ren once said "Let the past die, kill it if you have to"
  14. Between the awful lineups and bad bullpen management, not sure how anyone can defend TLR at this point. He's either mailing it in or just doesn't have it anymore because he's either too old or the game has passed him by.
  15. Phil Rogers is a joke too... he once ranked offseason trades of MLB teams by the +/- of players they received or traded away. He's just bitter that the internet really exposed how bad of a sports writer he is. Sports writers should make you more informed about the sports they write about. You don't learn anything from Phil Rogers, he actively just makes people dumber with his thoughts.
  16. I am not sure why TLR is still employed. It was found out he made a racial joke a few years ago to an employee at his animal charity, who laughed at it. He also defended this employee who was accused of being a racist by other employees of the charity. For a guy who had to say "I'm not a racist" in his introductory press conference, that is troubling. Also from a baseball standpoint he's awful, he's no better than Ricky. He manages like an old 70 something that's been out of the game for 9 years. He is actively hurting the team with his continued employment.
  17. Fair to share it's probably Reinsdorfs fault.
  18. I suppose it's not too surprising. DeCastro doesn't run the show there anymore and it's clear he did more damage than good with his lineup changes.
  19. Hopefully Narron can teach Collins to catch at the MLB level!
  20. Bottom line, JR needs to stop being cheap and sign Bauer.
  21. 5/65 seems too low for Giolito to take at this point. I would think it ends up being closer to 5/90 if a deal gets done.
  22. How about just adding to the low payroll and sign Bauer?
