  1. 3 walks for Kopech this inning.
  2. A real fucking RF gets that. Prime reason I never want to see Sheets out there.
  3. Kopech has no control this inning.
  4. He does seem to have some Hector level connections to latin players.
  5. Leury Legend 2 run bomb! And a nice catch by a kid on the berm!
  6. I think that's the only beer on that list I've heard of. I lost track of micro-brewers years ago.
  7. With Pollock in the fold now I would agree. I've just been rooting for Micker to figure it out forever and hope he'd make OD so they have more time to find him a new home.
  8. I seem to remember someone mentioning the vendors returning, but that too could be a false memory. Thanks.
  9. I just can't see him making it past the Os or another cellar dweller. He's gonna K, he's gonna hit in the low .200s, but he'll launch a few bombs and might give the fans a thrill for a spell. All with the hope that he figures it out.
  10. I would hate to just DFA Micker w/o giving him any chance to stick before May 1st.
  11. I didn't attend a game in 2021, is it still cashless? Did roaming beer vendors ever return?
  12. 90 wins, Central champs again, 2-1 Wild Card win, out in 5 in the ALDS. Lowered regular season expectations, hoping to be surprised.
  13. Rodon finally looked like an ace, be it for only half the season.
  14. You can choose to remove the cause of said misery. You do have a choice in this.
  15. While this depth move was absolutely needed, I get the same feeling. I so wanted Robbie Ray before the lockout, and yes he got $23M AAV, but I count $18M potentially locked up in mediocre garbage that probably could have been filled with cheaper options. That’s Rodon’s QO had the taken it or most of the way to a CY Young winning LHP at the front of your rotation. The way this teams wastes cash and then cries poor on big ticket FA will never ceases to amaze me.
  16. He hasn’t looked great in the spring games I have seen.
  17. My point is that both were needs and they did a poor job until recently of addressing either. I know your smart enough to see that. Pretending like they didn’t waste a bunch of money on other things and couldn’t have addressed both needs much earlier is silly.
  18. Bargain basement scrap heap shopping is their love drug.
  19. Being limited by the CBT is a choice. And they choose to throw $5M here and there to marginal players instead of paying for legit upgrades. I’ve been a fan of this team long enough to know how they operate so I’m realistic. But it’s kinda disingenuous to harp on those that were outspoken about the gaping RF hole as if we didn’t also talk about replacing Rodon, or Kopech’s inning limit, or covering for Keuchel when he crashes and burns. Or the lack of pitching depth in the upper minors. Pitching was as big a need as RF and they have the means to address both had they made the choice to do so.
  20. He can still be close to a .300 hitter with his eye. 30 homers might never happen at this point though I agree.
  21. Come on, we always needed both.
  22. Not when its my team getting shelled and I’m in the stands.
