  1. I don't know personally, but it seemed like a month+. It was not an expedient refund.
  2. Simmons is good but not transcendent level talent IMO. His lack of consistent shot will always hold him back. Philly still seems to be asking the world for him in trade though, and no team should gut themselves to that level only to be left with Simmons and a shell of a roster.
  3. I'm sure once my bitterness fades I'll snag tix to a few games this summer. But they won't get the same dollar investment up front I might have otherwise made.
  4. Love that sense of urgency!🙄
  5. Definitely not feeling overly compelled to drop coin on a 10 or 20 game plan right now, that's for sure.
  6. At this rate we will be lucky if it only wipes out April games. But I fear the owners want another 60 game season with expanded post season like 2020.
  7. This was the clarification I needed. Hopefully there isn’t a catch.
  8. My first thought upon reading the tweet was concern that locals would be blacked out. I really need to know what restrictions they apply as to not upset their cable overlords.
  9. Is this a legit In-Market streaming option for cord cutters? Or are they still going to require a cable package to access?
  10. Coby found his touch again, but Ayo really needs to find his. He has to knock those 3s down to keep the opposing defense honest.
  11. My bookmark takes me to the forums. Glad I haven't seen that. Really don't need that reminder!😂
  12. Yes. Sums up my perceptions/feelings quite well. Peripheral progress but still quite far apart on the core economic issues.
  13. Perhaps I should rephrase and say it seems like we are no closer, but you are both right in that some progress has been made. I haven't seen any reports that they have talked about the core economic issues yet, just talks on the periphery, which is probably why I am not at all optimistic that real progress is being made and we are any closer to a deal today than we were in November.
  14. That's what really burns me about the whole thing. Ownership is still going to make money hand over fist in whatever new CBA is signed. But here we are two months into a lockout with no resolution on the horizon and time rapidly running out before the season is delayed, no closer today than we were in November.
  15. Pretty much all for show. I'm of the belief that ownership wants to look like they are trying while also still running out the clock. Forcing players into losing game checks was always part of their plan IMO.
  16. Unless both sides lock themselves in a room to hammer it out over the next week+, and there seems to be zero sense of urgency from the owners, spring training definitely isn't starting on time.
  17. I haven’t seen any updates/news either.
  18. 100% agree. CEO salaries vs the labor that does the majority of the work are absurd.
