They can't even stay healthy.

Anybody in the system that has a potential future and that is not a cast off, has been...regardless of position.

The good news in theory is the kids can play (assuming Getz will let them...)

He's been with them on the road as well, at least so far.

It wasn't Merkin doing the story but Steve Greenberg of the Sun-Times.

Crochet now joins Lynn and Cease in commenting directly or indirectly on the White Sox organization: From the Sun-Times: “It felt like the big leagues, you know?” the former White Sox pitcher said of his introduction to life with the Red Sox. My guess is he is the "fill-in" stringer for the regularly assigned beat writer. Unlike in the old days when the beat writer covered every single game from April through September. Today they get occasional weekends off and vacation time.

CNBC lists Ishbias as co-owners of Sox with 2025 purchase date
Lip Man 1 replied to DoUEvenShift's topic in Pale Hose Talk
From the Sun-Times: A Sox spokesperson said a CNBC report listing brothers Justin and Mat Ishbia alongside Jerry Reinsdorf as controlling owners of the team is inaccurate. The Athletic recently reported Justin Ishbia, who with his brother owns the NBA’s Suns, planned to increase his existing minority stake in the Sox and to abandon a pursuit to purchase the Twins. In its valuations of major-league franchises Friday, CNBC incorrectly reported the Ishbias as Sox co-owners. -
It's called a la cart programming and most if not all cable companies feel that is to difficult to execute.

Sorry I can't help you there. This is some new information but remember it was just last week where Nightengale (who is the only media member JR speaks to) in his Sunday column clarified that despite the new minority owners he isn't selling nor giving up any control of the day to day operations. -
You should see some of the Dodger stuff he has in his office.

Could we potentially see an 8th Sox pitcher headed to TJS? -

With the almost sure thing that the owners are going to lock out the players and perhaps gut the 2027 season 2028 may be a better guess. By the way saw a story today which said owners are contemplating asking for a salary cap and a salary floor for the next negotiations. MLBPA is saying a salary cap simply will not fly. -

Looks like this will become a daily tracker...😆 35 runs TOTAL scored this season...2.9 runs per game. Eight straight losses, 1-8 vs. division. Have scored 16 runs during the losing streak...two runs per game. In nine of the 12 games they have scored three runs or less. -
PTATC: I understand the concept I simply forgot to add the title of strength and conditioning areas to my comment. Over the past decade a number of them in those areas have been hired and fired.
-
The fact that the Sox have gone through multiple head trainers in the past 10 years and gone through more trainers and conditioning folks in that same span than you can count...yet nothing seems to change. As I've been told by folks in the organization and around the team something is terribly amiss with the training, conditioning, nutrition areas with this organization. And yes, the players themselves also have some responsibility. Injuries happen but as I was told by an individual: “Given the inordinate amount of soft-tissue injuries they have had you’d think that they would do a complete change in the training, conditioning and nutritional areas.” I have no idea if the Sox have done anything along these lines or not given that the results of Hahn's deep-dive into these areas and the constant injuries was never released.

Well, that's seven straight...shall we try for 10? Don't forget in that 9th inning Robert (yet again) failing to do anything with runners in scoring position or on-base. He is a shell of himself now. Sox have now scored 34 runs in 11 games, that's a tad over three runs a game. They have also scored three runs or less in eight of the 11 contests. During this losing streak they have scored a grand total of 15 runs. Putrid up and down the roster/lineup. The good news? They may be cooked by May 1st and we can tell them to kiss off and try to enjoy the rest of the summer.

Great point 😆 We'll see how long he's out, if it is anything like Eloy, Robert and Moncada it will be months.
