My understanding from reading the story is that Comcast's biggest issue is the fact the Sox/Bulls are allowing their games to be seen via over the air (i.e. free) TV which devalues Comcast's product in their opinion. And God knows the state of the Sox/Bulls is devalued big time right now the way things are. Perhaps if the Reinsdorf's and Brooks decide to stop free TV broadcasts Comcast will agree to a deal?

Vargas and Vaughn seem to be at best mediocre and are probably worse than that. Robert seems to have one foot out the door already. There's really nothing here that makes a pitcher really have to stop and take notice. If this continues and Benintendi stays relatively hot he won't see any decent pitches to hit in game situations.

It will be interesting when all is said and done if the offense actually is worse than last season. Stone was talking about this towards the end of the game and admitted they are going to have trouble scoring. Already in four of the six games played they've scored three runs or less.

They should have postponed the game, oh well. Sox go 2-4 at home against two of the expected worst teams in the league after winning the first game of each series. Says a lot doesn't it? And what is going to happen the next six months.

I honestly though John sounded much better opening day, he toned down his act, sounded more professional. I told Brooks that. But tonight? That was not good. It's one thing to get into a fight with the media which the organization has always considered the "enemy" but to get into it with the club's own pitching coach? I wonder what they are thinking now and how this is going to be handled because Bannister obviously didn't appreciate the dismissive remarks.
