  1. A Palka/Davidson platoon at DH could be something. Plus, with Leury as a super sub, it wouldn't cost you a valuable bench spot.
  2. I obviously don't know him personally, but I'd imagine he'd much rather be rewarded for his excellent play by playing for the White Sox rather than a minor league all-star game.
  3. My guess is he joins us in Chicago for Friday's game against Milwaukee
  4. Didn't it already pass? I thought it was usually in May and teams wait until June because it sometimes stretches to the first week of June and they want to be safe.
  5. He only singled but he at least is ready for AAA, and Hahn said "next couple weeks" like 3-4 weeks ago
  6. Enough's enough. Promote Eloy.
  7. This is something a lot of guys do nowadays but it isn't called. Why have the rule if it isn't enforced?
  8. My god... why do you think he "fell down", Joe?
  9. Relatively. Wasn't a near HR but the guy still had to go back a bit
  10. It would be very, very great! I would compile a great roster and make the Cubs pay for it!
  11. Right, I guess I was assuming Santiago would also take that role soon.
  12. Thank you. I'm tired of people citing stats from like a 50 PA sample saying he should bat as a LH against LHP. He needs more time. He's not this bad against LHP. And I doubt he'd be much better as a lefty against LHP.
  13. Keep politics OUT of Hollywood!* *Unless they align with mine
  14. I think he's a caricature (as you alluded to) to most nowadays, but he still has his base and that's probably enough to keep him going.
  15. Then sign Gordon Beckham to replace that bust at 2B
  16. And Joe Maddon blamed the fans for it, somehow.
  17. I have a weird feeling that Madrigal ends up going 3. Maybe I just hope he does, because I want no part of him, but I think the Phillies might end up taking him over Bohm.
  18. I find it funny when people open up with that. If he can maintain those numbers then he's one of the best offensive players in all of baseball, and easily the best offensive catcher. I'll take the home runs and a .360 OBP, personally
