Jose Abreu

Yeah I've been saying this to those expecting major regression. James McCann and his ~.450 BABIP will regress, for example, but Moncada's contact profile indicates that he can maintain an elite, .340-.350 BABIP like Judge/Trout/Baez do. .290/.345/.515, Moncada's current line, is probably not far off from where he'll end the year assuming he doesn't endure an extremely prolonged slump or hot streak.

Can neither confirm nor deny

Love it.

I just googled 'Ron883 Steverson' and it was the first link. I was trying to see if he was one of the "Fire Steverson" thread starters I just find it funny is all, it's not meant to critique you. It's cool to witness the birth of a new annual Ron thread

Definitely a great question.

No. But he's pretty fun right now

he's 28

I know they used to. Not Hahn/KW types but FO employees for sure. However they might not anymore.

He certainly doesn't deserve death threats for pitching poorly, but there's also this: https://deadspin.com/trevor-bauer-has-been-harassing-a-woman-for-more-than-a-1831545503

Delmonico

Santana is the only real answer there, and even if he remains at this pace, Abreu would be the backup

Self-explanatory question. I've seen it discussed in various game threads and figured I'd make a poll. My guess is Abreu as a starter (the AL 1B crop is awful) and Anderson as a bench guy. I think Moncada will be deserving but gets snubbed.

Fathom? Joyful?!

That, and also the weird start time

Excellent turn on the double play

Robert in RF today. Gonzalez in CF

Joe Borchard

He crushed that ball. I wish he'd bat somewhere 1-5 every day

No, this was for Frare and Engel. Jones was already shelved

Also, the Sox are #1 in attendance among AL Central teams

The Sox outdrew the Cubs today

Doesn't Matt Kemp have a broken rib or something?

It was an aberration in the sense that Anderson isn't gonna be a .375 hitter. He's already well below that. But even in this "slump" of sorts, he's still making pretty good contact.
