The Red Sox will most likely want to re-sign Salty and since the team has had success and he has daughters in school I would think he will want to stay in Boston. He hit righties well this year and really struggled w lefties but he is a switchhitter.

I think there is a big difference between the 2. Viciedo is slow and a below average outfielder. He is pretty much a one dimensional player. He is playing LF because he is on a bad team and the only other place you can hide him is at DH. Now maybe his weight hurts him but if he drops 20 lbs his offense may be adversly affected.
