Heyman: Justin Upton to the Tigers
Sox are just being stealthy right now. I'm hoping the strike soon.

Heyman: Justin Upton to the Tigers
For the Royals, it's Gordon or bust. It'll be a battle with Angels, Orioles, White Sox and Nats.

Heyman: Justin Upton to the Tigers
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 14, 2015 -> 08:15 PM) We have no idea of an actual percentage as we don't know how serious the White,Sox are about signing theses guys. Exactly. I haven't seen anything saying we're seriously in on one of the OFers.

Hypothetically speaking, if we got Frazier and Upton or Cespedes, would you be set with the rotation or would you want them to add another starter?

Todd Frazier Available
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Dec 14, 2015 -> 06:38 PM) New marketing tagline White Sox 2016-17: Stuck in the middle with you Fixed it for ya lol

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 14, 2015 -> 06:00 PM) I think the Miller trade is insane. That was a desperate team trying to win and a classic overpay. With that said, prospects are no guarantee.

Todd Frazier Available
QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Dec 14, 2015 -> 05:59 PM) Sure he didn't mean Robin lol Lol no he said Rodon. I laughed at that.

Todd Frazier Available
Phil Rogers on MLBN said he's very much in play. Also said the Reds asked for Rodon. Lol good luck with that Cincy

Heyman: Justin Upton to the Tigers
That's good then if Giants are out and Cards won't make a splash.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 14, 2015 -> 04:06 PM) I agree. Swallow hard JR, and be prepared to take a bath if it doesn't work. If he isn't willing, then see what you can get for your players. Half assed doesn't work . Agree. Quit f***ing around and half assing this. If you won't spend a lot of money and get some offense then move Sale, Q and Abreu.

Todd Frazier Available
Listening to KC sports radio, they interviewed someone from Cincy. Talked about Frazier. Said the Reds could be doing a deal soon because this is about the time they make deals. Said they use Winter Meetings to get things in place. We'll see if they make a deal. They have the leverage because they don't have to deal him. But now might be the time with his second half decline last season. Hope we can get him without giving Anderson and Fulmer.

Thank You Everyone
Thanks for an awesome sports forum!

Cespedes Re-signs with the Mets
I'd take Cespedes over Upton because I like his bat better and doesn't cost a pick.

Heyman: Justin Upton to the Tigers
Just give me one of the OFers at this point and then add Frazier if possible

Plans for rest of the Off Season
Why are people moving pen arms? I'd rather keep Putnam.

Rockies outfielders in trade talks
If we don't sign a bat, I'm hoping we snag CarGo for a Montas package.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Dec 12, 2015 -> 10:18 AM) That's fine. I'd move something like Montas, Micah, and Trey for Frazier. Not sure that's the splash Cincinnati needs though I bet that's the type of deal we've offered and they're balking at it.

I'm hoping they budge off their asking price, but why should they? He's still under contract at a good cost and they could move him at the deadline. I'm just not ready to move Anderson or Fulmer for him.

Jason Heyward to Cubs (8 yrs 184M)
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Dec 12, 2015 -> 10:08 AM) We've also gotten the likes of Nestor Molina and Matt Davidson back for our expendable pitchers. Peavy and Santiago were the two deals that were more successful...although Avi has failed, there are still Montas, Lawrie and Rondon representing that fortuitous move. Granted, we should have fought for Iglesias instead...the outfield need was more apparent at that moment. Totally agree. My hope for Avi is he's a late bloomer like JD Martinez for Detroit.

Jason Heyward to Cubs (8 yrs 184M)
QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Dec 11, 2015 -> 07:31 PM) They'll trade them too late before too early, every player you mentioned. And that's not their fault right now. In order for someone to get Sale, they have to rip up their team and farm. Quintana has a ton of value also. Teams gota give up so much. Our best shot was with Arizona and the Braves got it done with Shelby Miller. You can't just trade these guys to trade them or you'll f*** up and not get the right return.

Both Nats and Cards offered $200 million.

White Sox acquire Brett Lawrie
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 11, 2015 -> 02:50 AM) Eaton is far from the cocky, rage-filled "bro" that Lawrie is. Just because they were both thought to be annoying to their teammates doesn't mean they were annoying for the same reasons. I know that. I'm just saying Eaton had his "issues" according to the DBacks. I was just using him as an example of Robin being able to keep a young player in line.
