The Mighty Mite

That’s 3 times I can remember trying to go from 2nd to 3rd on a ball hit to SS in front of you. Beneintendi saves the inning driving home Vargas with a double.

Eventually lots of walks will come back and haunt you. I’m surprised Katz hadn’t made any trips to the mound to try to settle Smith down.

My guess that is the game plan.

You gotta like Tauchman, nice lead, hold on for 5 innings then rain for 40 days and nights.

Whoever fixed Vargas needs to work on Robert and a few other guys.

Of course not, just something for a bit of comparison sake but I’d say he would be good for 25-30 homers.

Elko should have been given at least 100 ABs, 31 ABs was a joke but the 3 homers projects to 60 with a full season of 600 ABs.

Doesn’t look good.

I don’t know what that means either.

He was banged up a bit on Monday when he made contact with the left center field wall in an unusual way.

These guys are far from being good but they’re in every game.

Vaughn having a good night, just homered to tie up game in top ninth. 3 RBI on the night, OPS up to .748.

It started off good but Cannon doesn’t have it tonight. Might still have back issues.

So far I’m not a fan of Veneble but he has a s%*# bullpen.

You just knew a 1-0 lead wasn’t going to hack it.

Wow, great job by Eisert. Please get a few more runs.

We need a DP.

Houser back out there for the 7th.

Basic baseball there that Vargas screwed up, our guys need to get their head out of their asses.

Vaughn has regressed every year he’s been in the Majors. I hope this stint in Charlotte somehow gets him to the hitter we all hoped he would be, like someone said it helped Torgeson as he’s having a great year with the Tigers.

We paid today for not having a true 1st baseman, you can’t send both of your 1st basemen to the minors, Elko was playing well at first and should have never been sent back to Charlotte after only a 10 game and 31 AB period but we have to remember that Getz is still an idiot.

Rojas is no Brooks Robinson at 3B.

First things first, he still has issues at second base.

The manager and coaches have to figure that out.

Just such stupid stuff with Sosa and then Taylor. What also hurt was Vargas not getting a handle on that hard hit ball.
