Just heard on Comcast, 20 spring training games will be telecast, starting on March 7. i'm sure all the games against the Cubs will be on. be a good way to get to see Brian Anderson, Brandon McCarthy and Ryan Sweeney because the young guys always finish out spring training games.

i'd be shocked if AJ couldn't fetch an offer for more than $2 million. if that's the case, there have to be other issues we don't know about. it's very strange

He'd better have an on-base percentage of .350 and he'd better defend. otherwise, he's not going to be mr. excitement, he's going to be Mr. Whipping Boy. Frankly, I'm very concerned. His minor league numbers were nothing extraordinary. And when an El Cheapo team like Milwaukee dumps a guy who isn't making much and was a fan favorite, those are red flags. Buyer Beware.

Konerko and Garland or Contreras for Vazquez is insanity. But I wonder if PK has asked to go to Arizona. Grew up there. Lived there. That might factor into the equation. If Konerko is dealt as part of the package, Arizona would have to give us more than Vazquez in return. I'm not real familiar with their inventory, but a middle infielder would be nice.
