I just had a terrifying thought: Did the White Sox want Trayce Thompson? I always assumed it was salary swap, but maybe he's someone they want for next year?
I don’t want to want JR to die, but recently some of my favorite authors and actors have died, some younger than him, so he’s not necessarily at the top of my list of people I’m hoping don’t die either.
So much about this is embarrassing. You're punting the rest of the season and you're giving at bats to Trayce Thompson, Zach Remillard, Gavin Sheets, and Yasmani Grandal? You're going to lose AND learn nothing valuable for future teams.
When he didn't bounce back after a few weeks, I pretty much expected TJS. I feel bad for Liam. Hopefully, he can come back in 2025 and pitch for a winning org.
Inside the park HR was Tatum's fault. Should have been a single, tried to be a hero and it got by him. Birmingham's existing starters (now in the pen) have sucked all year. This is kinda why they've struggled all year.
