Sox brought up Lambert but no position player. Are they playing a man short again? And if so, why? I have a feeling if they were willing to give Sosa another look, he'd be up right now. I predict they are holding the roster spot for Trayce Thompson and they're going to play out the string with multiple 30-something looming FA roster fillers.

I never want Cleveland to win the division. I don’t like them. I know others on this board feel that way about Minny, fair enough. If Detroit is ever good again in my lifetime, I can see their fans getting super obnoxious, but my number 1 Sox rival is the Guards.

Lambert has been bad in mlb and AAA. Hopefully it was health related. Seems like a good guy. Maybe he can earn a spot for 2024.

I think this is par for the course. People don't trade their ascending players due to recency bias. Paul Konerko was a mega-prospect with the Dodgers who had a down year, so they dumped him on the Reds, where he struggled, which is how the Sox got him... for a struggling Mike Cameron. If Quero had a .950 OPS in AA, he would not have been available. Sox betting that he splits the difference between struggling as a 20 year-old in AA who was facing the pre-tacked ball for most of the year and excelling in an offensive-inflated Cal League as a 19 year old.

Sox played last night 2 guys down, 1 pitcher, 1 hitter. I hope to hear they have added 2 players to the active roster by game time tonight, but these are the Sox, so who knows? They may just bring up Trayce Thompson and Jimmy Lambert. I'd like to see a few guys get a shot. Eventually, I'd like Korey Lee to catch once he's healthy, Sosa to get some time at 2b/3b, and Patino to get time to work with Katz, given that he's out of options next year. What do you guys think? Who would you like to see added/subtracted in the last two months?
